One of my guildies brought up an interesting question today that I didnt have an answer for:


Once an Master Entertainer places a Cantina in a PBC, if that person were to then drop the profession, would the Cantina stay or would if *poof*?

This question could also be applied to Hospitals, Theaters and any other buildings that require a specific profession for placement.

If I place a Cantina and then temporarily give up Master Chef for a few days to experiment with some other professions, what happens to the Cantina after it has been placed?

I think you can still keep it. The skill a master chef has is to place cantinas. I don't think you need it to run a cantina.

But I could be wrong. Shhhhhh.

if the master entertainer surrenders her master, will the cantina delete itself?

no it will not, the building is a pc user structure not a city sturcture, so... if your friend gets that lvl , places the structure he can go to another profession, and even transfer the structure to you or another, with out the fear of lossing the building

I thought these were none-transferable. Now to place and drop might work...but I thought I even tried once to trans one and it didn't work

Well the reciever may need to be a master too. I mean I can't get a merchant tent ( ) since I dont have anything close to merchant in my build.

My sister mastered dancer just to place a cantina and then got rid of it once she had to. Everyone in town was so scared. But as I predicted, the cantina stayed!

You can not transfer ownership of a placed building. It's stupid, I know, but you must re-deed it and then trade it.

He just won't be able to pick it up and re-drop it somewhere without the proper "credentials" .. so hope you never have to move it.
