Please helpme welcome our first months Architect Correspondent, Zarcath!fficeffice" />

Zarcath will be helping the Architect community by keeping us informed on the major issues with the Architect profession. Keep in mind, this title will be rotated monthly to take the stress off the current correspondent and to help us get the best feedback possible.

We'll announce when we're looking for the next Architect Correspondent, but until then, help me welcome Zarcath to his new rank!

Yeah .. architects get the shaft again .. how did you pick these correspondents ? random lottery drawing ? Obviously not via those making helpful posts .. good work as always beating down those annoying architects ! Appreciate the consistency at least we dont have to wonder if we are liked or not ..

Congrats Zarcath

Just because he doesn't post alot, it doesn't mean he isn't aware of current problems with the Architect profession right? That is the point of the correspondant.

dss,

You obviously never played DAoC to see how team leads are supposed to work. They interface with their profession on a daily basis, they get the feedback FROM us to get to the devs in a more concise format. And then turn around and explain to us why the devs are making the changes they are. That is the point of Team Lead (Correspondent) posititions.

You can't very well have communication with the community if you don't post .. regularly . This guy is a nobody, there were much more deserving canidates in this forum.

What? You have to actually post to be a good coreespondant? I think not. He'll do fine...

I don't know the person at all, can't say I remember off the top of my head reading any of his posts.

That being said, I don't think it means much. I welcome him and I hope he can help us further our needs and goals. Should you need any assistance, friend, please feel free tocontact me.

Welcome Zarcath! If you're on Chilastra, come visit the informal town I'm in. There are many resident artisans including several architects (including one lazy aspiring Mon Cal architect named Ockki, me). They are an articulate group, so I'm sure they could give you an earful in our local cantina.

A complaint I rarely (if at all) see posted, but important nonetheless:

How about making interior items functional? Clipping for furniture is the first step; storage space in chests and armoires another. It'd be nice if I could organize and furnish a house with furniture and not around it!

2 big issues.

first is factory crates, how slow and un-reliable they are. They always seem to jam...

second is desk lamps and such. If you can't put the lamp ontop of the desk, what's the point? It simply falls to the floor. At least program them to float if they won't sit on the desk, to give the illusion they work...

anyways that's all that's bothering me about our profesion, besides unfair markets. But that's our won doings....
