I bought a house on corillia and wanted to add a friend to the access list. I put is name on all the list except ban, and he is unable to pick up anything or drop anything. He can move and rotate the exisitng furniture, but he cant use the crafting decices. Anyone have an idea on why this is?

you do not "use" crafting stations, they work in conjunction with crafting tools. Eg. if you have a weapon, droid, and generic crafting station, you stand near it and use a weapon droid and ceneric crafting tool, it allows you to experiment and sometimes build otherwise unacessible schematics.

Contentment does not come from within, but from what you do without.

I understand that, by "use" i ment allow him to experiment. Although it might have been that it just took some time for it to recongnize him because now he is able to. Although he still is unable to pick things up or drop them. Is there any way i can allow him, cause we share pretty much everything, and its annoying haveing to trade instead of just droping it on the floor.

Let me ask the same question a different way. I own a small house. Can I drop items I don't need there and expect them to stay there? Can others who I give access to pick them up and use them?

The intended design of the housing system is that those who you give full administrative rights to in your house can move, rotate, pick up and drop items in the house. However this is currently bugged and only the owner can drop or pick up items in the house. I have been told this issue has been a problem since beta.

Let us hope this will soon be resolved as many people like to pool resources with friends to obtain a house and share it together.

Ive heard the upkeep for a house is 500 cr a day.

Ive also heard that if I destroy my house and I have paid the upkeep, I get the deed back.

and I have not bought a house yet...

That being said -

If I have the deed, do I need an architect to build it, or can I place it myself?

Point being, if Im not in the game or not currently using the house, how efficient is it to turn it into a deed and put it in my bank box when Im not using it - so I can save on the upkeep?

I got a few questions about houses

1) is there any point in experimenting when crafting houses??

2) whats the difference between a style 1 & styl 2 house??

3)Why even get a large house when u can have 3 medium for same lot cost?

4)There are 2 small naboo houses. one small round and one square sized which also seem taller than the round one. Which is style 1 and which is style 2??

I placed one of each but they both say style 1 when using the house menu.

5) How many items can the different items hold?

6) Is it safe to drop stuff in the house? I mean is there bugs or something that make u loose stuff dropped in houses?

7) Why is there always a camp next to my house now?? When i first placed there was nothing there. not a single camp. and even a few hours later there was none. but now theres always atleast 1 camp there. and the other day one was even inside my house preventing me from entering the house. i bugged it ofcourse. but i know this "camp in house" issue was also bugged several times in beta

thats it

I can only answer a couple of your questions:

Any house can hold only 250 items. It is planned to be changed in future.

Large house takes 6 lot spaces, medium 4, and small 2. So you can only place 1.5 medium at same lot cost of a large house. Large house is, well, larger. (you can show off withyour large house )

actually your wrong there

the small round naboo houses take 1 lot

and the square naboo small houses take 2 lots

and mediums take 2 lots

As im the proud owner/co-owner of all 3

About experimentation on architecture, I haven't really seen any difference when it comes to harvesters of any kind. This includes ammount of success or failure, as well as materials used. 0%=98% for now. However, I still would try to make the best you can, in case a fix adjusts existing structures. That's the way I do it anyway.
