Thread: Has anyone on any server made a 45.0 crafting station with the new insp buff?

If you haven't hit 45 then what did you hit?

Don't have the resources on starsider to check, but repair tools with 1000 Con metal only got to 99.99. On super tuesday you could make 100 tools. 45.00 may not be possible. 44.998 or something may when up being the max.

Just did a little calc with the repair tools. All 1000 OQ copper gives 99.9999 Tools. Now if I mix 10 units of 1000 and 5 units of 969 copper I get 99.95677. My calcs with 10 units of 1010 con and 5 units of 978.7 con copper would give 99.95667. I wasn't too careful with the decimal places. It would seem that resources can be pushed over the 1000 limit. That said 1010 con copper can still not give us a 100% tool, only a 99.999 tool. So you wouldn't need 991 accross the board to max out. The 45s I fear are a relic of supper tuesday or the rare crit success, if such a thing even exists.

We currently on TC-Prime have 1000 con polysteel in shiftand I am making 100% tools with it and not using the entertainer buff to do it.

You can make the crafting tools to 15.0 yes, but can you make a repair tool to 100.0?

OK I just tested artisan experimenting on a crafting tool.


I've got the artisan buff. I'm using a conductivity 992 copper (Lovir on Sunrunner) or 1001 with artisan 1% resource buff. I'm a master artisan with 10 experiment points.


First try: got all Great Success, 99% experiment result= ended up with a 14.96 tool.


Second try: got an Amazing Success, plus some Great Successes, 99% experiment result = got a 15.0 tool.


Same materials...


You need the Amazing success.

Same test with repair tool using my 992 cond copper and 1% buff....


All great success gives 99% and 99.8812 rating


Several Great Successes and an Amazing Success gives 99% and 99.99999


So I think the max on a repair tool is probably 99.99999. Someone correct me if I'm wrong and they had 100.0 tools from crafting day.

We have 999 OQ/CON Copper on Chilastra....I'll get an arty buff and check out my results later ona few things. But to my dismay I didn't hit ber7 on my OMU's yesterday....doo HR/SR/UT all hae to have stats above 980 to hit that? ot do I need an amazing to hit it, my steel is Pretty darn good 986ut/998SR/969 HR thought for sure I'd hit it

I used up like 7k in steel before I got an amazing result.

Btw anyone if the affects the score to experiment on the durability of an artisan component for crafting stations?

Got two amazing/great's and one amazing/amazing, but I usually experiment everything and the durability was just great each time.
