Thread: Best Decorated Houses
Greetings and Salutations, I have seen some pretty good houses out in the galaxy, but overall I think most people's houses are basically crap. Sorry but its true. I know a large part of this is most people just use it for storage. I for one have 1 house to decorate, 1 house for storage/store, and then I have a guild house to decorate.
Out of all the Guild houses I have seen, nothing compares to the one I am co-founder in. There are a few that come close, but most of them have 2 couchs and a bunch of resources laying on the floor and thats it. I would like to hear other people's thoughs, and hopefully people will post their houses too. I know a lot of people just dont care about decorating. I can't blame them it is a pain to do it. It took Manti and I about 20 hours to do the guild house.
Anyways post your waypoints to your decorated houses, your tips on decorating, and hopefully some pictures too.
Posted this on my server boards too, but I figure some people on here would want to check out some ideas on decorating
I just spent about 6 hours decorating my new large tatooine house. had to get everything perfectly aligned and such hehe... next I want to renovate our PA hall.
One thing I kinda find annoying though is that the sound of my crafting stations can be heard all over the house. And... we dont have entertainment centers!
I usually don't notice the noise of the Stations unless I am in the room. In the guild house their in the back room, so I dont hear them if im close to there. In my Med house I have them in basement and never notice them.
Probably can hear the sound but I listen to music and watch tv/movies while I play so I just don't notice

if you wander up to Town hall and the Cantina ( thats not finished ) but Town hall needs slight touch up but its real nice even has a library.

I believe my furniture shop is one of the best decorated houses in swg. Of course I am biased, but you are all more than welcome to check it out just 1 minute north ofMoenia, Naboo, Eclipse(/waypoint 4664 -4072).
Its a medium naboo house, with 150 items on display plus 5 well stocked vendors. There are several theme rooms, such as The White Marble Room, The Conference Room, The Engineering, The Bar, The Music Corner and Stylish Living. Pretty much everything a master architect can make is on display.
I am still angry over the resent nerf from 250 to 150 items storage cap in medium naboo houses. I have several ideas for how to use 100 more items, but the totaly uncalled for nerf hinders me. SOE should buy faster hardware and/or another database, instead of crippling players.
