Thread: Best Decorated Houses
Since we are in different servers, it would be a nice idea if you posted pics of all of your houses and your achievements so we could all see them.

I dont have a character in your server but i would nevertheless love to see what you have done. Please post a pic so we can enjoy it.
Also, how do you place plants on the balcony....i have tried and tried to no avail. How do you make those bookcases adjust to the round room? And a zillion more questions I would like to add.
Could you give me a hint....

Hiya,
Master Architect on Radiant here. Have enjoyed this thread and made characters on just about every server mentioned above tocheck out what you guys are all up to.
I'm rather proud of my medium Tattoine home west of Bestine - coordinates are -2200, -3444, so please feel free to create a quickcharacter and call by. Every home mentioned above has been non-Tatooine, I believe, so it's a chance to see something different, at least.
One last question: I noticed a fair few posters here had multiple vendors selling a massive range of expensive stock. I carry a fair bit myself, but find the cost of hosting it on the shop bazaar pretty costly.
Obviously you may have higher turnovers, but am I missing some trick as to keeping the maintenance costs down? I have the merchant cost-cutting skill line up to level four, so I can't see how I can reduce the fees any further (except by mastering merchant). Are NPC or Droid vendors cheaper to run?
Do you share your costs with fellow artisans/guild or do you just sell a lot to cover the expense!

I use NPC Vendors and no matter what I do the price is always 1. I thought they fixed it, but I recently created a NPC vendor in the past week, and it still stays at 1.
Considering that the other vendor prices are outragious and would ruin the merchant economy, I don't feel bad using this "bug" to my advantage.
The site is back up and working great! Hopefully it wont crash again. Everyone come check it out.

Shane, where did you get the Musician Station in your bar/cafe area?
I think I have the best decorated small house because the common/sales room has a pair of loudspeakers in it (same as you have in the PA hall). They appear to be a fairly rare item, as everyone asks if I can make them some (I sell furniture). I love telling them sorry, can't be made, special black-market item, can't tell ya where I got them.
It looks like I have a huge stereo system in that tiny room with some nice couches, which looks perfect

Philomorph:, I am guessing you are refering to the Narglone that has manti sitting in it. It's a musical instrument that musicians can make. And I put a sofa chair in there (fits perfectly), the little stools with table and a box are another musical instrument called an Omni box.

In the Bria Galaxy, go to Talus, then to the Imperial Outpost there. Leave the outpost via the SouthWest gate and you'll go down the hill to a small river. Right across this river is Floyd Wright's house. It's a large style 2 house. Can't miss it. It's only about 200-300m from the outpost.
Floyd has decorated his house very nicely. He has an entertainment system, a security system, a greeter and a host of other neat features. It's a very attractively decorated house and that's saying a helluva lot since it's a generic style house. He's used lots of creativity in it.
The rest of you could learn a lot from Floyd and his imagination.
When you're done there, go up the hill a little bit and to the right and you'll come to Nicholas' house, or the "Quantum Cafe" as it's known. Go inside, follow the torches, and walk through the wall into the cantina.
You will NOT believe your eyes - guaranteed. Make sure to stick around until night time for an extra special visual treat.

I have a question on your fish tank? What is the blue/grey thing that u use as the "tank", I cant tell what item that is.
now you guys know I cant tell you all my decorating tips, I would have to kill ya then.
Match the colors with furniture to figure out what stuff is.
There is more in there thats nto even seen in the pics you would have to come look at the pa hall.
