hi there. i'd be interested in your new pricing schemes. how much do you charge for ... lets say

medium minerals@ 7ber

medium chem/flora/gas @ 5, 7ber

heavys @ 7, 10, max (whats the max atm?)

fusions @ 13, 18 ... (are there really 24+ber fusions!?)

im guess the new structures should be more expensive because we now need better resources

thx, vic

Hi,

on Gorath this was not the case. The day after it went live you could buy BER 10 Harvesters for the same Prize than the BER7 was. The Result of all this was that you could buy BER7 Harvesters for 20k,

Read ya.

Well it depends. First off, it depends what server your on. On corbantis some people sell the new ones for 100k some for 150k.

And with expirimentation. WIth only 5 points to play with. Everyones going to have the same thing. Unless your resources are totally horrible. Great resources may get you a better assembly. Anyway, if it turns out that all architects have the exact same rates on harvs. The price isnt going to go up much. If at all. Im a weaponsmith, and I can tell you. If there were 300 weaponsmiths on the server with the exact same weapons, they wouldnt be worth much.

It's difficult to compare, every server is going to be different, plus you have architects who probably work in Burger King or something and sell stuff much cheaper than what they can actually get for it (i.e. their time isn't of any value).

Baseline, you should try to sell for at *least* 3 credits per unit, because thats generally what you can get for the raw resources if you sold them (at least). If you sell for less than that.. well .. your probably comfortable with saying 'would you like to super size that' and 'would you like fries with your order'.

Hope that helps.

interesting ...

isnt the medium ber7 harvester far more efficient than the large ber7? or do they scale the maintainance and power consumption with higher ber

35k per extract7 of the non wall taking mediums

60k per extract7 of wall taking mediums (Chem flora etc)

75k per extract 8 of the non wall taking mediums

100k per extract8 of the wall taking mediums

160k per extract 10 or extract 16 fusion

225k per extract 11 or extract 17 fusion

Thats my pricing and my 2 factories are going 24-7 to keep up with demand on the things...

Your not going to get much for large 7kg/hr harvesters anymore. Hopefully your not still making them.

With crap resources you can get 9kg/hr .. with somewhat decent UT steel you can get 10kg/hr.

Right now I'm being successful (on Gorath) selling BER 7 medium mineral harvesters for 30k, and BER 10 harvesters of all sorts for 150k.

I've noticed that there are fewer architects with vendors advertising on Gorath; most days there are only 2-3 installations vendors registered on Gorath, and most of those tend to be empty when you visit them. I think I sold about 1 million worth of harvesters this weekend at the prices quoted above.

There are a fair number of Holocron architects around these days, but they find it difficult to make good harvesters and really don't have the expertise or the logistics to function as effective architects. They mostly just grind walls at 5k-6k a pop, reach master, and go away.

Aarg, no edit...

What I meant is that there are usually only 2-3 installations vendors registered on Naboo.

What happens when your customers riotafter the next patch and all miners get nerfed to baseline? Maybe the devs actually learned from the last half-arsed update and this won't happen.

Ive just bought a skill tape which gives me 6 experimentation points or whatever u call em... is that enough for rate 11? If so could u say what % u need to get each harvester on the key components or is this an industrial secret?

You know, I know us architects have bantered about the whole selling of 3:1, but I think everyone fails to realize, that for most of us, it costs us .5 to .02 credits per unit to harvest them. So, at 3:1, we're still making an enormous profit. Heck, at 1:1, we are.

BetaZoob they will never ever look at that. I have tried for months and they will not see it. Best thing you can do is know that for yourself and use it to increase your own business while they complain atyou. They will constantly complain because they cannot see the reality of it.

For me there is only one base extraction rate for a heavy harvestor, and that is 10, I dont sell any other BER on a heavy because once I have the schematic for a good ore mining unit it costs me nothing more to make a 10 BER on my heavies.

It is simply a better value machine I make for my customers now.
