We do it for the wookiees

I think a mental instability due to chronic sleep-deprivation, manifested by the crafting of armor may have something to do with it too... AKA, we've gone nuts.

You forgot about the steady 33% from Droid Engineers, and the sharp rise over the past couple months from Rangers, from 2%-47% the numbers are disturbing.

did u use BE clothing?
pre-cu u cannot tame viscious (red dot) creatures over lvl50 even as master ch without a taming bonus of some kind. i read that the devs planned to change this, but i m not sure if this is implemented yet.

Do you mean lvl50 babies or babies that can grow to lvl50 ?

i meant creatures which grown up level is 50+ (the wild ones level, not mission lairs).
u have a taming viscious creatures skill of +50 as master ch, so u needed some bonus to tame higher level pets (like bull rancors or mantrigue screechers before the cu). i use a +25 taming wild/viscous shirt (can wear it under the armour). it gives me better results on all tames.

If it was an untamable level he wouldn't get the tame radial. Adding the clothing would then make the radial appear.

Since you were breaking agro and returning a bit later it sounds like a really unlucky experience. It isn't common but I've had situations where after an hour I gave up so it can happen.

I'll be honest.

I don't know how I do it. I just do. I do wear +25 taming clothes and scarfe down some almond munchies whenever I attempt to tame something vicious, and whenever I attempt to tame a high level critter. My last two high level tames were post CU, and were of a level 64 female choku (successful first time) and a level 50ish voritor variant (successful third attempt).

If this counts, I was able to tame a cu pa (level 10) first time last night after two aborted "run away" taming attempts.

It seems....

The "you cannot tame that" bug may either be fixed or fixed for me at least for now.

I went after an arachne widow last night and was aggro'ed 3 times, once by the baby and 2 times by mommy.

The cursor appeared as though I would get the "you cannot tame that" bug but hitting the macro for tame changed the icon back and I was abel eventually to tame the spider.

For the original poster I say if you don't have the +taming BE clothes then get em, if you have em and you couldn't tame something in 3 hours its a problem.

I will say that I was able to tame a baby bluurg with level 81 parents or shallI say I had the radial to tame. After 10 attempts and fails I quit trying.
