Before finding BE clothing I had a reallly frustrating evening trying to tame babies on Dathomir. I was a Master CH but kept failing. I found four items of clothing that I now switch into before attempting any tame. The four include a hat, shirt, jacket and pants with a mixture of +Tame Wild / +Tame Viscious and also +Mask Scent / +Camo. I'm pretty sure I'm capped out in some of it and I look like someone on a Safari in the outfit but it sure makes a difference. I was taming level 69 and 70 babies on Dath night before last with only the occasional fail. I think I only had one agro in attempting to reach the lair, none during the tame itself.

Doesn't all of the +bonuses from BE clothing cap at +25? I know the combat bonuses do (such as +unarmed).

i think so yes, at least for all the bonusses that are useful to a CH it's like that.
(although the highest maskscent bonus i've ever seen was +17...

I have +25 taming clothes, and I have yet been able to tame any high level pet (CL 65-70). Though I confess the longest I've spent on any attempthas beenprobably 30 - 40minutes. But even without taming clothes I shouldn't need more than a few attempts to tame anything.
I don't think this problem is a bug, per se. I think it'sintentional that it'ssodifficult to tame higher level pets. The difficulty level, however, is unreasonable andneeds to be adjusted.

The hardest tame for me was a CL69, but it still took less than 20 attempts.
Most of the time, any tame takes less than 10 attemptsfor me.
This was with MCH and no BE clothing... I just maskscent and walk.
What were you trying to tame?
Also, a thing you might want to try is, if you can't tame it no matter how hard you try, try logging out for a while near the nest (in a safe place) and try again when you get back. Sometimes the baby is gone when you come back, but you can always hit the lair to see if it'll spawn again./waypoint-ing it and coming back later might also work.
Muchless frustration this way... LOL
Pre-CU, a boar once took me like3 hours to tame with something like 20 agros.

I would recomend masking scent from 60m away then going to the baby. But if they get agroed just go find another one else were.

if u are CL80 or at least 10 levels higher then the thing u want to tame, then dont use maskscent!
there is a bug now with maskscent as it works the other way round now. grey dots (everything 10 or more levels below you) wont agro u anymore. but if u have put on maskscent and a critter breaks it u will be attacked by the creature (even if they are way below your level). i walked thru a whole herd of reptilian flyers on dath yesterday without maskscent and was not agroed. when i put on agro it broke soon and i got the agro from the critter that broke it.
i only get agro when a tame fails and the baby attacks - usualy at least 1 or 2 grownups will attack too. and u can get agro when u are already in a fight - then other even grey cons will attack u occassionally.
