I agree, it can take months of searching to get a full set of even decent quality resources to make all of the advanced subs for ranged weapons. They are far more useful then the extra 2 exp points. I started searching 2 months ago and only now feel like my resources are good enough to start making ranged weapons.

I think I heard one time if there is a tie between two stats for the highest, the one that comes first in the alphabet becomes the skill added. I have not tried it though.

It was my experience that this is the case. e.g. in this example the volley fire will apply and the WS stats will be lost

unless you get a 3 volley tape right? put that in the clothing first and then the ws tape in it

when a piece of clothing with a skill tape in it reaches 0 cond, does the skill mod from the tape cease to work?

I think it keeps going until you take off the clothing or you delete the clothing all together but not sure.

Can clothing be repaired? and should you even bother trying to repair clothing with a CA?

Clothing can be repaired as long as it is above zero condition and yes it is worth repairing, especially if it has a CA... I am sure they will eventually make 0 condition clothing useless in further patches and publishes (I refuse to call the upgrades seriously look at their track record).
