Thread: PETITION: Moving all city buildings into Master Architect.

City Hall, cloning center, and theater in Master
Cantina and Hospital in Construction IV
Shuttle port and large gardens in Construction III
and the rest dont bother me where they go, but nothing in Novice.
Everyone should be able to place Gardens and other decorative elements and there should be no lot requirements per say. Maybe make a new decorative lot pool to prevent people from spamming gardens every where. They will simply make the galaxy look better then the slums we already see everywhere.
Master Chefs should be allowed to place a cantina.

I personally see no problem someone in a guild taking up architect to help construct what will be considered to be their city. WhatI can'tunderstand is people who are masters thinking they have some divine right togodly status andpower over every other guild who wishes to make a player city, just so that the few masters out there can make a quick and expensive profit on what they make. Yes i know the architect profession has problems but that is our own doing selling houses at less than resource cost. Becoming a master at any profession is not the end game. But what people fail to understand getting to master should not be a race this is not a level base game where getting to the highest level makes you better than anyone else, it is a community game for people to mix-&-match skills. So with urban planner being scrapped and put in one branch of architect allows a community to fend for themselves and build their own city and expand when and how they please. I don't see it as something I would like to make loads of money from, I don't play they game for that and i don't play the game to be bogged down with orders either. So Iapplaud SOE for giving power back to thecommunity and not the masters.
If we want to make our profession something fun and a pleasure to play lets look at things such as diversity in what we make furniture& buildings.Maybe crafting tools to repair houses that become damaged from wind storms or nearby conflict. Or a tool to repair harvestors that are overused that need a qualified architect/engineer to come and mend.
I have seen many pictures and websites of people showing their creative talents with aquariums, pet displays and indoor fountains. These maybe master they maybe novices i don't know, but these are people that inspired me to take up the profession, not to become just a master to rule over all and charge what i please for structures.
uummm your argument is pretty shallow considering those same guilds would of needed to get to Master if they wanted a PA HALL ...

We need the variety and since the server seems to be filling up - my sales of harvs and the likes have gone down dramatically.
This will help propell the Arch profession to new hights.
Im with some of the others on this thread.
City Hall and Shuttleport should be master items.
i also think it should be an elite/elite profession, but since that isnt gonna happen, MA should be the only ones who can build any city structures. why let lower class architects be able to build player cities? that will only create more non-master architects. an architect can build things, a master architect can build cities.

Great job everyone!
Bulldog, I know we're on the Eclipse server together and any business I had before will become yours because if all the buildings aren't put into the Master block, there are 5 architects I know that are either quitting Architect or quitting the game.
I, myself, will be quitting the game and devoting all my gaming time to FFXI. (I've played since beta and am just not impressed with the way things are being handled on a development level, hell structure factories STILL don't take strucutre modules from crates. It's been broken since beta!!)
Move them all to master! We have the majority so LISTEN to your PAYING customers!
Master architect should be the one and only ones that can build these items END OF STORY!!!!!
we are the master of the professions we have master it means we cant get any better we are the best of the best. the cream of the crop ETC
