Well so much for filling up my Gorath-vendor with a nice fleet of 30 or so BER13s and as many BER10s this monday.
Since the BER14/11 thing happened I have gotten three mails from people reminding me about the availability of better harvesters, how dissappointed they where when they looked in my vendor etc etc...
I missed out making better ones and just I have bought 500k extra hq Ore and 600k HQ steel on top of my own extraction to take my sales to the "next lvl" I now seem to be back to no customers...

Thank you SOE, I think you might have scrwed me again...

I got one tell from someone who's name I didn't recognize asking if I had BER14's in stock.

Maybe they saw my posts here or just heard through the grapevine that architects can make BER14's now.

I think one of the worst things about "Temporary Tuesday" is that we'll get those tells forever...

"Hey do you have any BER14 minerals??" will now join "DO you have BER20 fusions?"

So we get to explain how things work to somone who probably assumes we're just not a good enough architect to make the best which his buddy's cousin has.

Hey Indene, ya I think that was you. /wave

Sorry I'm awful remembering names but if you asked me about BER14's lately then its you.

You seemed to understand at the time, but we'll get other folks that just won't get it.

And the main thing I'm concerned with is that I fear in the future months we'll continue to get people asking for something we can't make any more. I'm not going to enjoy telling people over and over again that we can't make BER14's any more and that I don't have any for sale and no I'm sorry I won't sell mine no matter how much they offer. And theres always some jerk that will say "well you must not be any good cause my friend knows a guy that can make them" orwhatever. But hey, I don't blame the customers for asking. Just part of thejob.

If I'm not mistaken, these changes didn't introduce a new possibility - just one that was so remote as to be virtually impossible before.

The problem is the only way to test that theory would be to use "perfect" materials, and while there's an occasional spawn of a resource with a 1000 score in a given category, I've never seen one with more than one perfect value. Thoughts?

Since you only got one and since I sent you a tell yesterday It must be me. And I asked about both items . As a customer who has a whole fleet of BER 13's I would only have use for ber 14+s. Now I am also a merchant so I continue to sell lower BER units but the only ones I buy for resale to my customers are the top of the line in each category. Placing anything less is a waste of a good lot . I do still have some old stock of lower BER units frome the really old days but they are priced below the 1cpu point and still not selling so I will eventually destroy them I guess. Such is the life of a merchant.

Oh and I read these boards so you won't have to explain to me (also am ex-novice architect )
