Hmmm... 2.3 doesn't work for me. I can't open the file without errors, and when I do Excel tells me that the file was too badly damaged to repair.
All versions up through 2.2 worked for me. But 2.3 doesn't.

It must have gotten corrupted when you downloaded it. Try to d/l it and let me know if it works ![]()
I'm running Office 2003 at work and it d/l and works just fine here. I'm running Office XP at home. That is where I was having the trouble. I'll post again after I get home and let you know whether or not it d/l uncorrupted there.
Since I am now able to use the new version, I must applaud you on your hard work. You really are doing a fantastic job with the coding of this spreadsheet and it's use really makes pricing items much easier than before.
Thank you for your diligence and efforts. They are appreciated.
Nice job Vel,
Another bug for you though.
You have moisture vaporators (mediums) requiring 3 structural storage modules instead of 3 structural modules.
On a side note, does anyone understand why Medium mineral harvs are so cheap to make? Shouldn't they have had wall requirements like the chem ones? I thought this was an error in Vel's sheet when I first saw it, but checking in game shows that she's right. Medium mineral harvs only need 3600 units of materials while Medium chem and gas harvs need 12k units. Seems like they mixed up the database tables for mineral and gas medium harvs.

I'm in the process of doing a major harvester restock. I wanted to see the total resources and components needed to make 50 heavy harvesters of each type, including fusions. The calculations at the high number of units breaks the formula for the total specific resource needed in row 9 for the following resources:
Chemical -Appears to break at 1,000,000 units.
Copper - Appears to break at 100,000 units.
Gas, Inert - Appears to break at 10,000 units.
Metal - Appears to break at 10,000,000 (I know.. who creates this much stuff to need 10 mill right? But anyway...)
Ore, Low Grade - Appears to break at 1,000,000 units.
Steel - Appears to break at 10,000 units.
There's a few others as well, but the number REALLY start to get astronomical at that points and anyone putting in number that high is just messing around anyway. As usual, thanks for all the hard work!

What do you mean by "breaks" ? What specifically is the program doing? If it is giving you a return of ########in the cell in question, then that just means that the cell is too small for the number to fit. Resize the cell to make it wider horizontally and the number will appear.
I ran 5000 of each harvester all at once and I saw no calculation error, so I'm assuming this is what is happening.

Umm... heh... Ooops? Back to Excel 101 for me.
Glad to see I'm not alone on the funny farm GJ ![]()

At the risk of rejoining the herd on the funny farm, I would like to point out the folllowing... hope I'm not seeing things
Fusion Generators - You have the schematic calling for 5 gen turbines... they only take 3.
Manufacturing Mechanisms - These require one gen turbine, however rather then list the turbine at the bottom of the page, you have it calculating the total amount of resources for the gen turbine in the MM line and no turbine listed as being needed.
