Thanks for the reply.
I will start getting more into the game now... killing humaniods and grouping...
As for changing my template - I like the MCM 4000 - right now I am doing the Medic 0040 and it is giving me about 750 heals... hopefully the MCM 4000 template will improve on that...

CM 4000 will give you 1k+ heals. With enhancer I believe you can get up to 1500 heals. Plus you are a HUGE help in GCW PvP and in group PvE.

I’m MD/MLS
So far I’ve not had much luck with BHers. I had one MBH/MCM that killed me very quickly, he just piled on the damage and kept me healing until my mind ran out.
Yesterday I got attacked again, this time by a MRM/MBH/CM4xxx I stayed alive a bit longer, but it was clear I was gonna lose. My force was just running down and any damage I did was being healed with little or no affect to his mind.
My normal method of fighting them is to put on forceaura/infuse, armor break, alternate between head and body hit, then when their health is low KD/Power attack.
I can’t get in game right now so I’m not sure of all my saber stats, but the min/max damage is about 400/500
Do you guys think my tactics/saber is the problem or is my template just more suited to PVE?
Thanks for any advice.

hmm might be better with healer 4-0-4-0 maybe, sap could prove handy plus 1500 heals. but then no channel. u just got to try and last and get their mind down so they cant heal.

Thanks for the advice.
Might drop some of Defender so I can get healing 4x4x and still keep channel. Will have to think about it some more

Force speed, root, snare, adv. saber throw are some of the best tools to use on a BH. Your lacking most of them...and your saber is not doing enough. Not your fault though, we all need the pearl situation resolved.

Well first the 1500 heals are really better than the 1000 ones. Anyway it's in your saber the problem. 500 max dmg is really low.
I'd suggest to keep Def4440 and get some healing/enhancer, for example Healing4000 Enh3002... but I don't want to suggest you my template ...

I am almost a novice chef and would like a little advice if anyone would be kind enough to give it. When I start to work up the 4 trees which tree should I work up first?

Heh, well, for starters, can't read your text.....
Ok, after much squinting, you can find the best guide on how to work up te Chef tree in the FAQ.

Advice #1: Purple text doesn't look so good for those of us using the default skin (black background).
Advice #2: Most (if not all) crafting professions have an FAQ that almost always has recommended grind paths. In Chef's case, it's linked in the "READ THIS" sticky thread.
Advice #3: The best grind item in chef is Kiwik Clusjo Swirl (no subcomponents, no creature resources, 273 xp in practice mode). This is in Desserts 3. At Desserts 1 you get the schem for Pastebread, which is another good grind item (no subcomponents, no creature resources, 152 xp in practice mode). So go up Desserts.
Chef isn't really a profession where you can sell your wares until you hit Master (plus collecting a decent hoard of good quality resources), but if you want to try than going up the Cooking branch is a good idea, since that gives you more experimentation points, and you succeed in your assemblies / experiments more often.
