thx guys for all your advice, its really appreciated.
Where can i find these bomb droids? I'm on Chimarea server.
to the guy that said MBH wasn't worth it, at the moment, i realise MBH isn't great for hunting jedi and other templates are far better, but, i bought this game to be a bounty hunter and to master my prof is my goal. I'm more of an occasional player and not a grinder and it;s taken me a long while to 'almost' become double elite master. MBH/MP is where its at for me, now... and in the future.

Chimaera has plenty of good Droid Engineers. Send and e-mail to Dottie, he will assit. I even think there is a Droid Vendor just outside Kadaara

I have decided to become an armorsmith. I had planned on being a crafter for sometime, just never sure which profession until today. I know with the CU causing quite an uproar, I might be getting in over my head heh, but I still want to do it. I've searched thro countless posts on these forums, and the swgcraft forums, to try and get an upto date resource list for post-CU (I know it may change, but I think Im better off trying to fill my list anyway). Anyway below is, what I think, a complete list of post-CU armorsmith resources.
Please take a minute and let me know of any mistakes in it.

You'd be much more profitable and happier with WS, i promise. If they let crafters respec then that may be my next class

Well personally I've been suggesting to try a combination of trapping droids and the dweezil food as that's probably your best bet at the moment or you could always just wait until the token respec with publish 18 and shift one of the scout lines into trapping. However, I'm starting to get flamed for having those suggestions so to each his own.

I made a short post about this here. Basically, the changes to the xp system have made scout trapping all but impossible to an advanced combat player. The respec is likely to be the easiest but I do try and list a few other options in the post linked above.
I would hope that the Devs are looking into this issue, though, so waiting for a fix might be a viable option. Good luck with it.

I could use some advice. I just reached Master on Sunday. I am also a Master Scout. I am rifleman 2/2/2/2 and ranger 1/0/0/0. This is my problem, MCH is the most important to me. With what they are doing with the profession,Should I try for Master Rifleman or Master Ranger. Or maybe some of each. I was pretty happy going for rifleman and using my Assault Bowcaster, but when i tried that first box of Ranger, it seemed pretty good too.

I used my final respec lastnight. I went from MBH/MPistoleer/MasterMarksman/Carbineer 0030 to MBH/MasterRifles/Pistoleer0404/Marksman 4404 with 4 points left over for FS stuff. I've been a Master Pistoleer for over 18 months now and have really not used a rifle in PVP. Obviously distance/range is very important but other than that, what is it I need to do to insure I have a better chance of survival on BH missions? Is there a certain strategy that Ishould be using or combo of specials?
Thanks,
Kypek

Hi All,
CL 50 BH here. Working on a MBH/MR/Pistol 0404 template.
I have been grinding my way on Naboo (Kaadara) for quite some time now and would like to get some advice on a few items...
1) Because I am a BH, I am trying to NOT do any faction stuff - so much, that I do not take Missions that involve killing people, because I do not want to EVER aggro some faction accidentally chasing a mark... Is this a smart idea or just dumb? I realize that I am missing out on humanoid drops, but at CL 50, is there really anything good dropping anyway?
2) I have only been doing stuff solo to this point, fighting white and yellow cons. I know that I could fight blue cons and probably get xp a little faster, but I am really trying to hone my fighting skills by being solo and fighting white/yellow cons. Stupid or good idea?
3) My generalway of taking out mobs (not marks, I have already completed the BH ivestigation tree) is to lay down, conceal, conceal shot (X2), snipe shot, stopping shot, snipe shot, then stand and tank the rest of the way. I generally get mobs down to about 30% health by the time the reach me or start their ranged attack. I tried torso shot, but it only seems to bleed about 45 points once or twice per mob. Is this a display issue, or does it really only affect mobs once or twice? Seems constant head shots do MUCH better dmg than torso... Anyway, does this sound like an effective way of taking out mobs?
I only ask these simple questions because the fact that I solo, I have not really asked others how to best be a BH....
Thanks for any input!!

1. Why play if you aren't gonna get your hands dirty? You might as well be a crafter if you want to keep from getting ANY negative factions. And yes, some good loot to be had at just about any level (although, higher the better)
2. XP... just get in a grind group. On shadowfire the hot spot is dantooine mining outpost.... but every server is different. You'll get xp so fast in a good group, you'll hate me for not telling you sooner.
3. Bleeds from torso shot suck (thanks soe), so my advice is for sustained damage output, alternate between critical shot and head shot.
Here's a tip..... take it for what it is worth. If you ever plan on hunting player jedi, you will want to change your template. I have run MBH / MRifle / Pistol 0404.... horrible, IMO. If you don't take out your target in the first volley of fire, and manage a DB.... you are in trouble.
1. You want to stay rifles.... MBH / MRifle / CM 4000 - this gives you much needed heals when the jedi catches up to you (and s/he will)
2. You want to stay all ranged... MBH / MPist / Carb 0440 - very high damage outpust with legshot and adv critical, plus a snare and a root, best kiting template ever.
more thoughts on faction... there are only 2 factions that matter in the game, rebel and imperial. All else is a waste to keep track of. If you need a certain faction you are negative in... no biggie, just go kill their opposing faction. Faction only ever mattered to me twice in game so far. 1. so I could get into jabba's palace. 2. so I could complete a mission in Imp themepark (but I hear that mission has been fixed).
Basically by staying nuetral to everyone, you will limit yourself to never doing either imp or reb theme park, never doing Jabba's themepark, possibly never doing Nym's quests, never doing ANY imp or reb based missions.
