HC Scatter Pistol is a pretty good gun, I'd probably stick with it. In terms of smuggler... you have a root and some great debuffs and Last Ditch if the odds lean away from you (don't plan to use last ditch ever cause when it fails you will really hate yourself for it... use it only when u have to!!!). Equipment wise, food and spices and I'd probably say get the two range arms so you can shoot most pistol at a range of about 50m... cause Powers are gonna hurt you bad after Pub 19

Bring back the CU or at least Pre-CU... its better that this MMO Third Person Shooter bullcrap

So what are the biggest dangers of powers then? As you say its going to hurt me alot? I Havenot hunted yet one live bounty. But I am just trying to get my strategy in place as once double exp is over I plan on being done with my template and taking a shot at my first missions.

Heyas all,

I was looking for advice on slicing. I have a nice new set of armor, and I want to slice it (assuming there is no more hinderance to it)... so I can ADK it. I was wondering what slice combo would be best for it?

It is my understanding that Enhance Resilience and Improve Impact Deflection are really to offset item decay (if i'm reading it right), so an ADK'd suit of armor doesn't need them.

So i'm guessing hardening for a PvE set, or Break Protection for a pvp set?

Ok thanks for everything,

Honestly? I'm not sure any of those four specials work at the moment.

If they did, then I would probably rank them Frenzied Blitz > Thick Skin > Lightning Reflexes ~ Precision Strike. My own personal preference would be to add Staggering Strike, Eye Gouge and Knockdown. Maybe Hamstring. (Since the CU, Dizzy no longer affects the length of Knockdown.)

I have been working during the last week [before account expires again] to really give this a whole hearted attempt... I admit I am having fun... At any rate I am working on a PVE pet. I selected a lvl 64 festering squill as the baby came with Marring Storm 3. I have also trained it in Vig. Health 1 an Intimidate 1. I will probably take the vig health to lvl 2 at some point in the future but its health is fine at this point for the mobs I am fighting. Also I am pleased with the results of intimidate 1 at this point an cannot see any reson to take it to lvl 2 if there is no other advantage besides a increase in % to land. So far I am VERY pleased but now after doing tons of reading I am very confused. I use this post for reference... http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=creature_handler&message.id=244032&jump=true

I am thinking of training the pet in one of the following abilities, which would you recommend based on your experience.

FrenziedBlitz(Innate)
Training Cost: (L1) 5 (L2) 15 (L3) 45
This ability permanentlyincreases theSpeed ofyour pet's attacks.

  • (May or may not be working as intended. This does not appear to increase the BE'd pet listing.)

Lightning Reflexes (Innate)
Training Cost: (L1) 5 (L2) 15 (L3) 45
This ability permanently increases your pet's Defense.

  • (May or may not be working as intended. This does not appear to increase the BE'd pet listing.)

Precision Strike (Innate)
Training Cost: (L1) 5 (L2) 15 (L3) 45
This ability permanently increases your pet's Accuracy when attacking.

  • (May or may not be working as intended. This does not appear to increase the BE'd pet listing.)

Thick Skin (Innate)
Training Cost: (L1) 5 (L2) 15 (L3) 45
This ability permanently increases your pet's Armor.

  • (May or may not be working as intended. This does not appear to increase the BE'd pet listing.)

Note all of these end in (May or may not be working as intended. This does not appear to increase the BE'd pet listing.) So are any of these actually working an would you recommend one over another an if so why?

Thanks in Advance for your comments

PS. I have learned KD 1 an 2 an was originally going to train these abilities however without a good dizzy ability mobs get up 2 fast.
