Thread: Has anyone on any server made a 45.0 crafting station with the new insp buff?
Ok, just did some testing on my Sunrunner stations.
Pervious to pub 23 I had maxed at 43.67.
My materials aren't the best ever. But still pretty good.
I maxed out Elect GP, Control U, Energy Dist all at 99% and each had at least 1 amazing in experiment. My DSC are 98%, MSS is 96%.
I did final combine with Architect buff.
Final combine: all great successes = 44.40
Final combine: 1 amazing, others great = 44.45
Materials:
EGP CU ED: OQ 988 ore, OQ 999 gas, OQ 987 polymer, OQ 998 iron, OQ 996 steel
DSC, MSS: OQ 994 / Cd 555 Steel,OQ 932 / Cd 992 copper
Final : Cd 990 copper
On SWGcraft the 932/992 copper is the best on Sunrunner which is 962. And I think my steel is probably the best stat too. I'm pretty close to the cap for Sun.

I'm not seeing the resources go up for Artisan buffs at all. I've 1000CD copper and I cannot get 100% on the experimentation for repair kits. This with Fivo, 14 point suit,4443 Artisan,FS Crafting Mastery.

Odd I made all 5 schematics last night. They were all identical in rating. Some got amazing and some just great success on experimentation. Something is a miss with your .40 and .45 results. Sure there wasn't a mix up in the subcomponents? Possibly an amazing success on the assembly?
This is for the final assembly?
'Do you have 1000 CD copper?

By the by, on the MSS, has anyone tested if using the optional subcomponent effects the final crafting station rating? ...

Yes the quality on the parts for the MSS matters. And all parts are necessary to get max stat.

I reproduced the 44.40 and 44.45 results. The single amazing makes the difference. I got great during assembly every time and used the exact same materials.
I'm using 990 CD copper. If you have 1000 cD then my theory is the the buff doesn't makes any difference.
Im having trouble hitting 100% on my subcomponents... I keep trying my CU, ED, and GP, hit 99% on them before the buffs and 99% after them, even with two amazing success' on them...
Metal: 992
Polymer: 993
Ore: 1000
Copper: 996
Gas: 986
How many times are you guys having to experiment on these things to make them hit 100%?

1000 copper would be 1100 with an artisan buff. Maybe the architect buff applies as well? I assumed the artisan buff is used as the experimentation is used as well. Maybe it is a different sub routine that figures the two out. Either way a bump of .05 is rather huge just off an amazing. I am simply not seeing any bump in any way on anything I make with or without a buff be it amazing or great success. I do have 12 points in just about everything, so I always max out, great or amazing. Maybe an amazing in there is needed if you only have 10 points to truely max out?
Starsider has several choices for 1000 con metal, including a steal (only in the 700s on oq though).
even with 1000cd copper (metal) you will NOT get a 15.0 crafting station. I tried this the other day, even posted the results several posts up on this same 3rd page of this thread. You get 14.999998, NOT 15.0
"amazing" results, in experimentation or assembly, do NOT increase the rating of the final product (on one experimentation line items) UNLESS you're not hitting max due to low resource quality. If you routinely have points left over (due to 12pt status for example) then the ONLY thing "amazings" will do (again in single experimentation line items) is give you an extra point that you can't use.
There have been numerous posts and tests done with this in the various forums over at swgcraft.com
And any pre-cu armorsmith (and post-cu weaponsmith) will tell you that amazings are ESSENTIAL to making the best MULTI-EXPERIMENTATION LINE items. For items with only one line of experimentation, they just help you reach the max faster (or allow better results if your resources are a little...lacking in the quality department)
If I experiment and get two greats, it pops out +44.907. If I experiment and get one amazing and one great, it pops out +44.912
