Thread: Architectual Item Pricing

Ok, I charge or try to charge what the server is. I am on Bria Server, and if i charged your prices, I would be a busy person indeed. Everyone would buy the stuff at my prices then resell it for normal galaxy standards.....lol I have done this myself on occasion.
I think you are trying to generate business for yourself on your server. There is nothing wrong with that, but coming in here blasting everyone else is insanity.
Exactly. And I think he is full of sh+t and until he posts the server he plays on with the location of the vendor with these deals of the century on them I won't believe otherwise. And like you said, if he really did put those things on his vendor at those prices and ANYONE (let alone architects) saw them they'd buy out his inventory in a New York minute and resell it all. Hel, on my server I won't sell a heavy harvestor for a dime less than 150k. They are a pan in the as$ to make, take several factory runs and are generally time consuming. And you know what? At 150k I can't keep them in stock fast enough.
Thisthread smacks of a troll or a non-architect trying to get real architects to lower their prices for his own agenda.

He said in his first post ".I am BlackStarr on the Corbantis server, my shop is in the Western Dune Sea of Tatooine titled StarrMart." So checking this should be fairly simple.

Nope. I actually play on the Corbantis server. And in fact I actually have a vendor on Tat. I like to keep tabs on the competition so to speak and I had never heard of this guy or his shop. So I asked some of my friends, some of whom are big harvestor customers from time to time and they had never heard of this guy or his shop. My guild, also had never heard of this guy or his shop. And this guy's shop is not on the world map. But I am thinking none of this means much as he could be a new player (and with those prices probably is), so I decided to go on a trek to find his mythical shop of bargains.
First of all there is no Western dune sea on corbantis. There is an EASTERN dune sea. So I figure maybe he made a typo. I go to that city and check out every vendor there. I found a deed vendor but his prices were in line with every other architect on the server. So I ride around the outskirts of the city thinking maybe his vendor is on the fringes. Nope. Nothing. nada. I then see someone from the guild who owns the city and ask them if this person is in their guild. They say they've never heard of them.
So then I think maybe there is a western dune sea but just not on the map so I get on my trusty AV-21 and spend 15 minutes drivng to the OTHER side of Tat trying to find an outpost, a little city, a collecton of houses, a single vendor in the middle on nowhere. Anything. I didn't find a thing. I then visit all the cities on the western side of the planet (hey I was bored and actually HOPING this guy had a shop so I could buy some stuff
) After about an hour or so I finally gave up my search.
Now Tat is a pretty big place, and it's "possible" he has a shop hidng out in the middle of nowhere that isn't on the world map and isn't advertised in any way, shape or form and that nobody I talked to who lives on Tat knows about. Or maybe he had a shop tucked away in one of the cities/areas I visited that I overlooked (although all the cities do have arch vendors with prices inline with the norm).
But ya know what? I doubt it. I stick by my original statement - until this guy coughs up a waypoint he is full of sh+t.

The Western Dune Sea is a region north of Wayfar and around Rhuidean and Tombstone. I did some cursory checking, but that's a pretty wide area. I couldn't find any locals that had heard of either the Blackstarr or the Rats of Nimh guilds. Google didn't bring up much either. It's kind of odd, but this thread is where most of his posting are.

Of course he could say he switched servers or plays two characters on 2 different servers but it just seems pretty odd. But I suspect we won't be hearng any more from him
I saw that as well, but figured he played on more than on server. It's pretty common. Course this would be easier if he just told us where the shop was. Then we could see it was more than a troll.

Eh, if he comes back with a wp and we can check a vendor, then we'll know his intentions match his actions. Since he hasn't gotten back, it's all just up in the air.

I don't know the exact waypoint since I am not in game right now but I can attest to the fact that Blackstarr does indeed have several vendors in the Western Dune Sea on Tatooine on Corbantis. I have purchased a number of houses for my city as well as several factories and harvesters of various types. His prices are exactly what he listed in his initial post.

You can "attest to the fact" until you are blue in the face. You could be his second account, a friend of his, or you could be some guy who is telling the truth -but until I see an actual waypoint this whole thread reaks of bullsh+t to me.
And I find it interesting that if such a shop does exist and has such good dealsthe only two people who claim it exists (you and the guy who stated this thread) won't post the actual waypoint to it. It's not on the world map, I couldn't find it after travelling all over Tat and back and nobody I spoke to has ever heard of tihs guy OR his shop.
I am Hazelina in game and I play on Corbantis. Feel free to post the waypoint in here or leave me an in game email. If I can verify it I will happily come back here and retract everything I said and offer an apology. But I said it before - I don't expect this guy to show his face in here again and I seriously doubt I'll ever hear from you again.
Have a nice day now ![]()
Well, for whatever reason he posted that listto troll. And as a troll you shouldn't take anything he says seriously.

Regardless what his prices are, I'd say most of disagree with most of his statements. I haven't figured why players feel that their viewpoints must necessarily be imposed on every other player in the game. I guess in the absence of regulation by government, people feel they must impose restrictions on themselves.
As for his pricing, it's more curiosity for me. Like one of the posters said, the breakdown of experience for products to pricing of products is uneven for Blackstarr's price list. There's no standard and no explanation on why it's so uneven, especially since he believes there should be a standard.

Stownhart, maybe you should post a WP so you aren't lynched as a troll.
