Thread: How rich are you
I'm sitting on about 200K, building up, just started making Heavies. I am backed by a PA, but I don't much money/resources from them. They place most of my harvesters, but I placed the PA Hall, so it kinda evens out. It's a small PA, growing though
. Looking forward to hitting master archtitect soon so i can make the real money!
I have been floating around 500K. I have a partner (an armorsmith) and for a long time we were miners selling resources on the bazaar. Since resource sales have been way down we stopped selling on the bazaar and now I make most my money selling high end craftign stations and running my general store (as a merchant I sell lots of others items.)
I could have alot more money but I buy alot of stuff. Lately I have been buying lots of high quality resources to use in my crafting stations that I get 25K for (40+ stations). This has kept us afloat as we change our mining business to more high quality weaponsmith resources.

No PA, solo all the way with a few lots from friends. 3.5 mil with about 700k resources, another mil on the vendor and in stock, and about 500k in harvesters placed and running. Total assets probably liquidateable to around 5-6 million. I have given over 2 million to friends too.
Anyone that thinks it was easy getting there is dead wrong. The first 6 weeks were 8 hours per day of playing. The past few weeks I have been running in neutral, just harvesting, helping out friends, and selling an odd structure here or there, and I have actually lost money because selling 1 or 2 large and medium structures a day is not enough profit to keep harvesters running.. I am getting sick of other crafters telling me that I should be happy with 2-3 cr per resource profit because I make big sales.. Thats a bunch of garbage.. If I go 3 days without a sale, I stand to lose 200-600k in cash. Let me see a weaponsmith that can lose that in a few days. The cash in hand is irrelevant.. it is all about cash flow.. You can be doing millions in business a day and be bankrupt if the cash flow is not there.
1.2mil atm , I've made over 10 mil since I started my arch (less then 1 month).
guilded
700,000 creds, 4 fusion, 6 heavy, 14 medium, 2 factories,1 large house, 1 medium shop, 200k resources, 300k on vendor (4 vendors). No PA,Master Architect and Master Artisan. Also selling resources (2:1 ratio, medical supplies (including pet vit packs, pet stims and area effect stims)and creatures at unbeatable prices. Tailoring coming soon... watch this space.
The difference between having Master Architect over your head to just having a crafting title is staggering. I hit Master tonight and clocked up 250k in sales in around 30 mins through people asking for stuff. Had to turn to 2 PA halls and a few fusions cause I did not have time. Taking orders again now though and looking forward to stunning everyone with the prices I can achieve (I do not buy resources and mine the lot, which means I get them at 0.55 to 1 ratio).
Tocatta Stores -5192, 3400 Theed, Naboo, Bloodfin. Striving to be the best unfactioned, unguilded freelance Architect around. My prices are very hard to beat. Mail me with an order and it will be done, sire!
1.4 Million.
No heavies.. small home.... my overall networth is approching 3.5... currently have 2 factories, 5 mediums.. 1 solar.
Im a master arch out of flurry..

1.6 Million +1 mill resources and NO HARVESTERS im retired.
I like to group the Architects into the Before the PA runsh and After the PA rush.
I made all my creds in the great PA runsh of weeks 2, 3, and 4 in which i was making 1 PA hall every 2 days for 275k a day. I did well in this great couple weeks and harvesters were flying out the doors faster than i could make them. I ended my run at 3.1 million credits. I went weeks 5 and 6 with no sales at all. The next shift I pulled all my harvesters and Retired till business picked up. I put 1 million in the PA hall and gave a ood friend 500k. I say even buy selling the occasional Factory or Med harester, with all the resources I have left i dont ever harvest.
I am almost up to Commando and can almost master it and still keep Factory and Med HArvesters in archtect for a long time. I plan on slowly losing all the Architect skill but I will alwasy have my 6 Heavy harvesters and 1 fusion and 1 heavy chem if i want to just mine resources for cash.
excuse all the typos, Man you would think i was in 3rd grade.
I'm just now breaking 500k but, I never did grind my way to Master and dump a lot of houses. I have only built to order all this time and only 4 contruction levels from Master. Sure, it took me longer to get here and I am not as rich since I didn't get in on the housing explosion but, all my work has come from references and built to order. There was one time I made all the subcomponents and went out peddling my wares and selling as people ordered them.
I am thinking about getting into the resource harvesting business once i hit Master Architect. With these stupid crits on major structures, I doubt I will ever attempt a PA Hall.
Oh, meant to add, I am solo and I funded myself doing nothing but delivery missions when I first started. Now I have references from other people and selling medium houses and harvesters, I don't need to do missions to fund my business.
Never had and never wil have a PA backing me. I did it all on my own with hard work and many a days spent doing nothing but boring delivery missions.
I am proud of the fact that I worked for every bit of the levels I have. I never had a PA dumping tons of resources on me to grind to Master. I never had a PA dumping all these resources on me to make my stuff and sell it and never had a PA giving me tons of orders to fill.
It was all done with blood, sweat and tears. I have made some friends that now refer people to me to make their stuff. I try to treat people right and not screw them over. I will tell them it is better for them to place 2 smalls instead of 1 medium. Even if it is a loss to me loosing the sale of the medium harvester and more cash in my pocket. I care more about the customer than I do profits and in the end, it has been an advantage. Some days I can't keep up with the orders from people I have done right.
Sure, I may be a Mom and Pop type shop instead of Walmart but, I at least can take pride in the work I have put into it and the friends i have made along the way.
