Issue 3) Resource and Crate stack limit Increases
Sub Issue 3a. Ore mining Units need to stack.....

Sub Issue 3b. Stacking needs to be enabled for Ore Mining Units...

Sub Issue 3c. stacking limits need to be increased on Ore Mining Units to more than 1.

Sub Issue 3d. Please do not forget about the Ore Mining Units....

ROFL, I am a new architect and I ran a 1000 run of these. I figured it was a bug when I opened up output hopper on factory and saw what looked like Ore mining unit hell...

I bugged it.. then looked here

Its good to know that other people are suffering... but I would like the suffering to stop also

Ok, I read the original post, and kinda didn't feel like reading the rest of the replies cause I would forget my idea by then, but I noticed that you mentioned lootable schematics for certain things, which got me thinking. I would love to definately see some loot only schematics for maybe some uber cool looking furniture, although I'm not sure if looting these schems off npcs would be a good idea, seeing as how most architects don't have combat skills. But then again, most WS don't have combat skills either, and they have a ton of schematics that are looted off NPCs, so I guess it could work. But the idea that really struck me as good, was lootable items like OMUs or Turbo Fluidic Drilling Pumps. Either make schematics with limited uses that could be made up to say BER 8 or so, instead of 6.. I believe that's the max anyway, I kinda forgot. And also make lootable components, not just schematics, so maybe you could run across an exceptional OMU with say a BER 15. This would add a new level of excitement to architecture to know that there isn't this hard BER 13 cap on all harvs. Other professions like WS have components that they can craft, say Geonosian Reinforcement Cores, but they can also loot those items too, and sometimes the looted ones are better than what can be crafted. And I think this would be great to help keep things interesting for us.

Hmmm... my pet beef is not even in here. I really couldn't care less about the architect's role in the GCW (my architect is imp, but spies for the rebellion, so that is already taken care of ), but I do care about all those lovely plants I see in spaceports and other NPC places that are TYPE 2 etc. I mean really, what is the harm in letting us make the other plant types? They are quite obviously already in game, and they would mean such a boost to interior decorating. Not to mention the fact that a lot of them look a hell of a lot better that the type ones. And I would just LOVE to have a few craftable rugs /whistful sigh...

Good list of issues.

The one thing the architect profession has never been short of is ideas.

It'd be nice to see any changes at all. I've been a master for over a year now and I'd dearly love to see any of the top 5 fixed, better yet the ability to craft the "Missing" furniture items. Not more loot kits, they're fun enough but they don't benefit architects one jot.

How many people will actually pick up their carefully placed furniture, buy a new color (which they have to find first or wait for an Architect to fill their order) and then spend more time in carefully placing it again. I think most people will think twice about this, but if they have a paint kit, there will be a bigger chance they re-color it.

A lot of people would buy new furniture if they can get the colors they want. I think you're underestimating the boredom people feel with everyone having the same furniture. If I could get the colors I want in my house, I'd have NO problem picking up what I have and replacing it with the new colored item. The demand would be greater than you're expecting, and not just at first either.

I dont know if this was suggested already or not ... I know color kits for furniture so that they may be colored post production has been suggested ... and decay on furn has been suggested ... but why not make the color on furn decay so that they have to be recolored on occasion as well. (so people have to keep buying color kits for the furn like they do for vehicles).. might not be such a good idea .. but heck ideas can grow.

Also ... omg give us some new plants sometime soon ... for crying out loud 1 year of game and only 3 plants we can make when I see a ton of diff type of plants in starports and stuff.

Yah I love teh idea of quests for schematics also. I love that my tailor can get all those high price schematics (crafting aprons, ex leotards and light packs) .. can make nice money off of those.

Issue 5)
right now.. there is very little in differences between Corellian and Generic structures... After a year I do believe it is time for some new floorplans and new structures.

As a leader of a Corellia based guild, I can't agree more with this suggestion. Compared to the Naboo and Tattoine houses, the Corellian ones are terrible, ugly gray boxes. The one small house, with the 2 oval shaped rooms, black on the outside, is not so bad, but the rest of them are terrible. We have our theories on why this is the case, but I'll keep those quiet.

In light of the recent change to daily resets, I think we need to move the factory output hopper bug to the top. We shouldnt have to redeed every other day because they ignore this bug.

Heck I just wish that we could get the storage issue addressed more.

I do appreciate the bugs being fixed, HONESTLY I DO. But with easily 90% of the exploiters gone now from the database storage, IF NOT MORE, there's plenty of room to finally treat structures as a sum of their lot usage, not capped at 250 items.

that means at 75 items per lot the following would reflect:

Cantina - 5 lots - 375 items storage

Large Houses - 6 lots 425 items storage

PA Halls - 7 lots - 525 items storage

Larger stack sizes, like 1,000K, and all things crating to 100 items, and restackable by serial, and you would solve the number one immersion problem with this game for me as the leader of my guild's commerce efforts.

Again, we could reduce 64 houses of storage down to a whopping 6. Do the indents calculations for that Oracle DB, you know this would be an incredible amount of savings in game load times, bandwidth usage and surface area savings. Not to mention people would get a fairer use out of their lots than before and encourage decoration vice just storage as a whole.

Oh dear Dev PLEASE! This is totally crippling my business. If I can't craft what really is the point of me playing this game as a crafter? I really want my factories working again. =)
