Thread: New Harvester Pricing again
I sell five unit crates of Light Ore Mining Units for 35k each.
Ten unit crates of Fluidic Pumps or Harvesting Mechanisms for 100k each.
Ore Mining Units for 10k each.
Schematics for parts on a per use cost basis.
Some of my fellow architects have passed when they've seen the prices, but most who have found my shop and noticed my harvesters have bought at least a few parts to try them out. They usually return and start buying parts on a regular basis. I'm not sure, but I think I might be the only source of these parts on Flurry currently. Since my harvesters are priced at a premium there's plenty of room for other architects to buy and use my parts, mark up their harvesters appropriately for the additional cost, and still sell their harvesters well below my prices if they so wish. I have never tried to influence what other architects sell their harvesters for which use my parts nor have I even asked. It's their business.
A fewof my customers have sold far more 11kg/hr heavy and 8kg/hr medium harvesters than I have based on the number of parts they've purchased. One architect has already gone through two 100 use Ore Mining Unit schematics I'd sold him and contacted me tonight to say he wants a 200+ use schematic made tomorrow for him. Good grief, that's a lot of heavy miners and fusions and it doesn't count the dozens of heavy flora/chem/gas he's obviously made based on his purchases of fluid pump/harvesting mech crates.
Answer post...
1kg/hr = 1 resource per minute, 60 per hour,or 1440 per day
So an 11kg/hr heavy harvester on a 92% spot would produce 11x1440x.92 = 14,572 units per day.
To hit 11kg/hr extraction on a heavy harvester you currently need a Structure Experimentation skill tape which are ultra rare drops from NPC's. As in, so stupidly rare that Holocrons are more commonly dropped than skill tapes it appears much less a skill tape that is useful. Master architects have +55 experimentation which gives them 5 experiment points. If you can get a +5 experimentation tape they'll be at +60 and have 6 experiment points to play with which is the minimum needed to hit 11kg/hr extraction. With six experiment points and using awesome resources of 950-970+ unit toughness combined with an amazing experimental success on the key extraction part you can sneak into the 75%+ range and make 11kg/hr heavy harvesters. With seven experiment points you can use great resources and a great success on experimentation to achieve this. With eight experiment points from a +25 skill tape you can hit 75%+ using good resources and a great success. No matter how high you experiment and I've personally hit 92-93% 11kg/hr appears to be the extraction cap for heavy harvesters currently at least.
