I sell rate 10 heavies for 125k, less 10k per 1 lower extraction rate. Seems everyone is dumping old 7-rate heavies for 75k now.

I just got flamed for selling 7-rate medium mins for 50k. Shouldn't it sell for more than an old heavy? Everyone seems to expect these for 20k. I'm selling all mediums at same prices, broken 3 structure mod schematic be damned!

However one of the hardest part in the sales business is educating your customers, you have to be very careful or they will end up educating you by buying elsewhere. The prices for the old mediums has indeed dropped off the face of the market, I almost expect to see them selling on the Bazzar soon. ( chuckle )

You have to consider what they will buy for, it is not like it cost you a whole lot more to make the higher capacity mediums, the customers know this. You may not be able to raise your prices as much as you want too.

I am not telling you what to do, every architect has to set thier own prices and live with the decision.

But I expect it will be a ballance, old mediums certainly sell for less than they used too, higher capacty extractors will probably not sell for as much as the old heavies did. Short term maybe, but long term the customers wont pay that, not when they can get them elsewhere cheaper.
