- To create an overhang by cutting material away from, as in carving.

Dictionary.com does not include the "purposeful" part you alluded to. The fact you sell for so little is in fact undercutting, regardless of how you mean it. A HMMI uses 27,770 units of resources. If you're operating costs for that item equals about 9k credits, then for just resources alone you are paying about three tenths of a cent per unit you buy. This looks like a lot-swapped farm. Add in all the other stuff you mention, and .3c becomes even lower. SO that means someone must basically give you your resources for free. Must be nice. Sadly, hardly anyone else in the game is able to do this. I guess that means you win.
Sorry man, but I just can not accept any justification for charging so much less for things in this profession. Its not HOW you are able to do it, but WHY. You *know* that your prices mean many other Architects are unable to BE an Architect because they dont get free stuff like you. So you are purposefully making other players in this game QUIT playing a fun profession.... just because you can. Pretty heartless, IMHO.
Sorry if this fits under the category of "flame", for that is not my intent. Obviously you can do whatever you want to do. I am just very glad I am not on your server.

You know my first reaction was a whole slew of replies to your post. But you know...been there, done that, got the t-shirt. It's boring now. But I can say you are correct with one comment (note the highlighting).
Stownhart, you are an undercutter by definition. Please don't try and dispute that. Its just a waste of everyones time.
man, i made 120 rate 14 minerals this week,,,now i'm outta steel good enough to make more,
sold them all for 250k here on ahazi ..they went as fast as i could stock them...only other person i have seen with them is trying to sell them for 500k...now 425k...hasnt sold any....and i hope nobody is dumb enough to pay that........first time in the architect forums.nice and quiet in here..lol
Not really. I actually price mine higher than everyone else because I dont want to be a slave to the professions. I dont *want* to have to have my factories running 24/7. And yet I still have a steady income. The best part is, and what means that in all truth, *I* win, is that I make by far more creds per unit of work I put into it. While the undercutter manages and runs lot-swapped farms, fleets of factories, etc... and make XX credits, I would make the same amount of credits with less than half the work.
Also, I would gladly read any response to my last post. I tried to keep it civil, and if you can do the same, I think we could have a most excellent dialouge. Just because we dont agree doesn't automatically mean we can not talk about stuff. I would honestly love to know how you manage to get your resources for less than three tenths of a credit per unit. For the record, I ran about 400 static lot-swapped harvesters about a year or so ago, and I know how that works, and it does not explain your incredibly low cost to operate.
AT the end of the day, I am sad that there are people in the game, craftersOR combat, who lay out stumbling blocks in front of others having fun in this game. Just because you CAN do something doesnt mean you should. There would be nothing to lose by raising your prices to be closer to other Architects. You can still be the cheapest.

Looks like everyone is an undercutter with the exception of the highest priced dude on each server lol
No the highest priced guy is a gouger. Unless you're the highest priced guy. Undercutter and gouger are relative to anyone lower or higher than you.
Everyone lower priced than you is an undercutter. Everyone higher priced is a gouger.

BER14 fusion is nothing new. They've always maxed at BER14.The 144k size sounds like fusions specifically. I'd be shocked and amazed if anyone hit 140k+ size hoppers on a BER14 mineral or chemical.
I don't think the 140k+ hoppers are possible for the current implementation of BER 14 minerals.
I dont.. know.. Cuz of Work It took me a little while to get time to make my BER 14 and BER 11 Harves..
Id say in 3 days I have sold 50 BER 14 @272k and 40 BER 11 @120k
Ofcourse I did Explain in my Add that These take HIGH quality Resources and those resources are Uncommon.
I think People understand that this is still a good and fair price.. ![]()
