We get one schematic a month. There are at 15 that we've seen so far:

I always sell my paintings for 10k. I make good money each month and it's a lot of fun!

I sell mine for 5k for small and 7k for the large. I make factory runs of a 1000. Even if i only sell 200 of them thats still about 1mil credits from a 48k schem and a little bit of resources. I mainly use them to draw business into my vendor.

One thing I'd recommend:
When you make the schematic, set it for 1000 units - not to actually manufacture that many at once, but so that you can make more on demand.Use common materialsof low quality, the price per unit will remain low even weeks later. Most of the time it will be easier and less expensive to find more of those materials when you want to make more - and you can price them accordingly.
The second use of the schematic will sit in your schematics section, so months later when you find you can no longer acquire the materials you used (usually the wood will be the hardest to get after that time) then you can make another schematic off the second use and you'll make a lot more money because the painting has been "out of circulation" for so long.

at 20k, i am selling 5 paintings a week. Which is fine with me. This will keep my vendor stocked for some while, and I will be able to add new pictures to the vendor as they come out.

People will buy them at almost any price. I saw a factory crate with 10 paintings on a vendor near my shop for 30k. I bought the crate, took all the paintings out and then sold them on my vendor for 30k a piece. while you may sell alot more at 3k, you make a much larger profit above 20k.
