yes, i was crafting using multiple crafting tools in practice mode, and i wasn't using any macros. Is this current bug or persistant?

There is a bug (or at least there was one) where one crafting station ending will close another crafting station that is open. This sounds like what is happening to you. I hated this problem when doing crafting by hand and went to a macro for multiple stations. Have the timing set up so that I only have to click the resources and macro does rest of the commands. Since doing that I have not had the closing of crafting stations problem.

As far as I know from reading the boards and my own experience, this only ever happens to me when I am crafting tools, such as the food and chemical tool, repair tools, or the surveying tools. I have never gotten this message when crafting an item, such as a blaster pistol barrel etc.

I am sure I have read somewhere a summary of a post on this subject from SOE saying that this was "working as intended".

My observation with this is...

The crafting Session Ends when the timer on a crafting tool reaches 0. That ends all crafting sessions. My advice is to time your crafting so that your crafting window is NOT open when you have a crafting tool reaching 0. It's bypassable but annoying!

Bump

Because the crafting screen is closing before we are ready for it.

Please fix this. It makes it VERY VERY hard to craft.

Everybody please turn in /bug reports on this.

Where is the radial menu that lets you clear your hopper? I'm having this exact issue right now.

Thanks,

I just had this for the first time. When selecting resources for the schematic, I double-clicked and the entire stack poofed and was gone. The stack was gone from inventory and exiting out of crafting didn't bring it back. Has this happened to anyone else?

I've had it do this but the stack of resources isn't actually gone from inventory. It just got dropped into a travel pack that I keep in my inventory. But you don't see it any more unless you open that travel pack. I don't know if its a bug or if I accidentally drag/drop the item on top of the travel pack. It has happened to me several times though.

The closest thing that has happened to me is when I double clicked a resource, I accidently dragged it into a container (backpack, cargo pocket, etc...) Are you sure this didn't happen to you?

I hadn't thought to check that. The resources weren't in my backpack but I have several cargo pockets and such that I didn't check. Thanks for the tips.

I was rather mad one day when this happened to me. Though the 100k stack was gone, but ended up finding it in my unequipped pack.
