Hey all:
I was just curious how you can survey for the fusion so you can put the harvestor down in a good spot. I have looked under all the different tools i have and can't find anything.
Thanks

Pawlin summed it up.
But just as a note... you may enjoy the new Survey droid coming in next week's patch. It'll make finding Radioactive much much easier.

BTW - I'm not sure that the survey droid is going to help a lot. From my reading you hand it a survey tool (which it uses up) and send it to a planet. It sends you an email with the list of all of the resources of that type that are currently on that planet. No stats. No concentrations. You will have no more information than if you flew to the planet yourself and opened up your survey tool in the starport.
One use for it will be when you already have harvesters out on a planet that is not your "home". After day 6 of a spawn you might fire one of these off every day to see when that spawn ends, so you can go tear down your harvesters. Another use might be if you see something appear in swgcraft.com on a planet where you might prefer not to mine (e.g., Corellia) and want to see if that resource is available on another planet (e.g., Lok).
My basic point is that I don't think that these droids will be a huge boon to people.

Remember that surveying a radioactive will give you wound damage

When you use your mineral survey tool, if it appears in the list (on the right), thenit's on the planet.
Once you find it - DO NOT sample it. At the moment, some planets haven't had radioactive for nearly two weeks.
Occasionally check the "Current Resources" link at: http://swgcraft.com/

I believe it is only sampling of radioactive that hurts you, not surveying.
