how many ships will there be? theres 3 land vehicles not inlcuding the cc speeder. theres no need for a ship builder profession, it should be slotted into architect and master artisan professions. We'll probably only see 3-4 ship types. 5 tops.

I will be dropping Architect for shipbuilder as I find it highly unlikely that they will give us sufficient additional points for an extra profession.


However once the rush is over I may come back.... after all its only a few 100k of resources and a few hours work to make Master Architect :-(

I will be taking up the ship building profession.. I have a character who's current professions are, Master Architect-Master Artisan-Master Chef... When the ship building profession becomes available, I will be dropping chef for it.. I figure the architect profession will be more important than ever when this new "ship building profession" is released, and artisan goes hand in hand with architect so I should keep that too.

I'm going to stay Master Architect. It's been my character all along, and I don't plan on losing that part of him or his story. Besides, I rather enjoy building structures and furniture.


I plan on dropping my medic and merchant skills, so that I can pick up Shipbuilder and Pilot. I've been planning on being a pilot even before I bought the game, and have been waiting for SE so I can make that my primary profession. Depending on how much ships cost, what happens when they are destroyed, etc., I may end up keeping shipbuilder, or drop that altogether. Have to wait and see how the crafting works.


I have a reputation as an architect on Chimaera, and I plan on keeping it. I just plan on building my reputation as a pilot/shipbuilder as well.

Ive always loved starships..and im glad i made Nitaon Sunrof on valcyn...for 2 reasons, 1 that I wont say here..but a 2nd, to experience crafting and be the best damned one on corellia (which I believe i have achieved...got half of coronet coming to me on tuesday when dolovite spawned...2.5 million credits in 1 day on 66k harvestors)


Ever since Nitaon became more and more of my main (my MC waiting on chil for our eventual revamp..) Ive became convinced to go Starship engineer...


...which means, hehe no more great architect oh well..ill be the best damned starship engineer on corellia then

5 Fighters. Then comes the smuggler and transports from what I understands. I cant see how it should not deserve its own proffesssion. Millenium Falcon crafted by an Artisan/ newbie proffwould strike me as more then just odd.


On topic:

I'll drop my Master Merchant the second I installed SE. They announce it for release till fall tho. So I cant imagine it'll be out before we sing christmas songs

I'm going to the Fan Festso I'll be there to get the lowdown on the crafting portion of it and I'll also be in the beta. So I'll report back here when I get some idea on what all the starship building profession entails.
