This may be stupid post but haven't we heard enough how this patch screwed the arch profession i'm sure the devs know the frustration, archangel is probably bugging the devs to death just so we would stop posting about it get enough already i'm in the same boat as you. i have had 4 critical failures on 7 wall modules. no i'm not master, no i'm not mon cal

Well yeah but so far ive seen the devs fix the stuff that gets repeated 30 tiems over, over the stuff that gets noted and scrapped, so if you ask me the more we yell at them about the same issue over and over again and in higher numbers the faster they fix it, its not the way it should be but thats how devs play the fix-me-first game.

Check the effectiveness on your crafting station (and tools). Chances are very (VERY) high that is's MINUS something.

Most architects I know that complain a lot about critical failures use absolutelly crap tools and stations. Somehow Architects donotseem to realizethat high effectiveness tools (+14 to +15) and stations (+40 to +45) make a HUGE difference in the ammount of critical failuresthey get. The higher the effectiveness, the lower the ammount of failures.

I've noticed a lot more crit fails lately, also .. I'll get a crit on about 1 out of 3 .. either in the combine or the experimentation. (even with a high quality tool and station). Glad to hear it isn't just me.

And I'm doing fine on sales, and money. That's not the problem .. 30% crit fails just seems excessive for a master. And I don't remember it being this bad before. If there werent factories, I think I'd go crazy(ier).

True, to a degree. I do get around 40% crit fails when using a 22.4 station, I get about 20% using a 42.5 station, both attempts using a high end tool. The major gripe in this is that this percentage occuurs on every click, increasing algabreicly your chance to fail somewhere in the creation process to @80%, using high end tools. "That ain't right", as Festus was proud to say.

Step 1. Stop your crying.

Step 2. Get the good crafting stations and crafting tools.

Step 3. Used quailty resources that match the schematic.

Return = Critical faliures go away...

It works, I know i am a MA have been since early Beta3.

My business is very successful. I cant keep up with anything. Most of my stuff is made to order because i dont have time to stock my vendors. I makea lot money with my char, and i have never cheated anyone.

I am honestly dreading the vehicle launch, It will be a mad house.........

Step 1. Stop your crying. - Being upset is not crying, grow up.

Step 2. Get the good crafting stations and crafting tools. -I do, currently 42.5 stations, 22.8 tools (I was wrong before, verified & wrote it down so I would not embarrass myself again)

Step 3. Used quailty resources that match the schematic. - I use 900+ in anything other than furniture style items and house infastructure.

Return = Critical faliures go away... - No, they do not. Not even close.

It works, I know i am a MA have been since early Beta3. - <YAWN> So what, the game has changed 14 times since release, Beta means zip.

"One word for you: schematic. The odds of you making 7 BER 13 heavies in a row are not good(although they should be), so waste 1 or 2 at the beginning, and let the factory do the work. Personally, I have been trying to do them in lots of at least 20."

Sadly this is the best alternative. Even if you are making only 5, it is better to waste 1-2 chunks of resources for a guarenteed 3-4 harvs.

I really believe this isa bug in all crafting and not just architect. The problem is that noone else except for maybe BEs with creatures or armorsmiths with RIS have that much to lose on 1 crit fail. 1 crit fail along the entire process of making a heavy harv makes it next to worthless. Anything but great sucesses on experimentation creates a worthless harvestor also unless you have 11 or 12 points. A 12 BER heavy is very low on demand when mediums are 10. 13's don't have much more demand but there is some there though.

For the guys mentioning their millions. Guess what, I have them too, and just from my architectural proceeds. It is not the money. It is the fact that experiment is buggered.

If you are asking me........I'll say it again.

+42 Crafting Station

+14.64 Crafting tools. 3ea.

Until THIS week I had not had a problem doing stuff by hand.

I am using factory now.

Not by choice.

Master Architects are vanishing, between holos quests and just burn out. People need to stop underpricing, folks easily pay high dollar for quaility weapons and guns.

People are screaming for quality goods, if they'll pay it on a gun they can pay it on a harvester. I'm selling my medium and heavy harvesters on a price per BER model. Forget the concept of how many resources it takes. Heavies over 10 are 15K per BER. Mediums are 10K per BER as are heavies that are 10 or less. If nothing else, not having the tells from people telling me what I should price at, I have peace and quiet.

The time alone to make these (even with big lots of premade parts) is huge, and I'm not playing the game to work.

I sell house at around 5 per resource, with smalls closer to 4 since they require such little effort to make. If resources are selling on the bazaar at 6 per resource, then I need to be making close to that to justify me going to all this effort.

Stop underpricing your goods. You're only hurting yourself. Do you want to play the game or save someone else money so they think you're a sucker? I personally don't want to sit around in my shop selling things for less or the same as it costs to make them. Neither should you.
