If you'll give me all your ore, I'll give you some random guns I've got lying around and you can tell everybody that you made them.

Oh you evil peoples! You've hit the nail on the head here...so to speak. I'm always searching for Ore Ore and more Ore. In fact I have a pack stashed in my house called "Ore's Galore" which - sad to say has itty bitty bits of ore left...."just in case I find that same ore again, so I can combine them and not be wasteful."
Yes, I'm an Arch. addict and 'tis sad....the only times I seem to leave my house/crafting stations is when I have to check harvestors on go on resources and crateshopping sprees!
Help me quit please!!!!!!!!!!!!

What I don't get is why we're blamed for our ore problem. If having ore is such a problem, then they should go after the Corellian Ore Cartels. They're repsonsible for it, not us. We're just victims.
Now if you'll excuse me, I've gotta go and get my hit of making small modern end tables.

I just felt that I should stop by and give a word or two of encouragement. I am a former architect, but I managed to break the habit. Yes people it is possible. At this moment there is no ore or steel on me, or in my factories, or in my bank. I have not been an architect for several months now. Don't give up hope: one day, you to can be free from ore and steel.
Wait, what are you doing, stay away from my basement.
Err, yeah, that is a bag full of steel.
Ummm, I guess that bag has some ore in it.
Those are err for sentimental value, a reminder of my past.
Reegan Caniped, Chilastr
Non architect for over 6 months, and I still have a stash of high quality steel and ore, and crates of architect components, just in case. . .

Am I the only one that gets butterflies in my stomach when I find the need to make crates of power cores?

To think... i've been doing architect since beta 2 or 3 (yup, that's right, a good year and a half of making structure modules... I gotta have my head examined). ![]()

I, too have only 1 ore on the water.
yes but I have a higher power. The Force is with me.
Still Ive been in and out of cloning centers for my ore problem
at one time I was down to 68k ore but Ive been at 32k + ore too.
I surf the ore sites.
they tried to switch me to something not as bad as ore, but Id always end up at the same harvesters, a small man with an ore problem... But I have the Force, now...
ore runs in my viens, its gemetic
one time there I was harvesting at 60% feeling no pain. this went on for a week. then there was a SHIFT-- and I hit rock bottem.
Curse ore the simple architcects folly,

I love you guys!
And I thought I was the only one with this problem. But now I realize that Isuffer from a serious condition and accepting that is the first step to recovery.
I am an architect.
*sniffle*
I have an addiction to finding the highest ore concentrations, setting 9 harvesters as close as I can to that spot, and then going on auto-sample to maximize my extraction rate. (for the record, I need one harvester for power.. hence, only 9 for ore).
I sit and calculate what my yield will be per day and try to figure out how long it will taketo minea stack of 100k.
I haggle my friends to stick my harvesters in their unused lots.
I have 3 Structure Crafting Tools in my inventory to maximize speed while crafting. I am proficient at using two at a time to crunch out structural modules.
I get a rush when trying to crunch out a small house in under 5 minutes.
And for some reason, all of my profits go to buying either more ore or other resources.
*sniffle*
I am an Architect.

A nerf panic: The next best thing to an intervention.
I've been so upset at the prospect of shutting down my business and quitting the game altogether for the last few days that I haven't thought about ore at all.

Oh sure, I built a house for a friend and moved some stock around but my heart wasn't in it.
Even as I did it, I just wanted to finish and go sit alone on the beach and watch the stars go by (in front of the moon).
Maybe this is what it's taken to get this durni off my back forever.
