Thread: Just an observation...
granted revenge tef seriously needs to be looked at...
as for no being pvp gods? lol i can basical declare toss a AOE mind poison...get ganked clone come back and DB all the incap players...its cheap and crappy...but the fact is its easy to do...even if i die as long as i get my mind poison in i get to clean up the bodies....
right now nothing stops a raid like a CM....

And Elenora, your posts used to at least post some thoughts and issues. Now? That's a troll statement if I ever read one. Did you let all the banshers get to you? With posts like think you should really stay away from the boards and take a break. I'm not bashing you. But I think you've lost any since of objectivity with posts like thing and are doing nothing to help yourself or the Combat Medic class.
Hence I mean that as predicted the overpowered classes in PvP will become flooded...
this happens in all games...people flock to the class that considered "uber" or overpowered in PvP...
this alone should make the pre patch CMs wonder...hmmm maybe CM has become the premier PvP class...
Yeah.. if TEF didn't exist you'd ONLY have a bunch of incapped rebels laying around waiting to be DB'ed by the first overt who passes by. They wouldn't get up for longer than 10 seconds either.
Elenora is right.. CM can stop armies like no other class... the only one thats even worth comparing is carbineer.

You just proved my whole point... With tef... it allows you to come right back out there and kill them or attack them. If you did not have a tef you wouldn't be able to DB them. You would no longer be overt.....
to my knowledge you can DB an incapped overt while beeing covert.
you just need a TEF on a covert to DB him (i.e. you can not DB a PC that appears neutral to you)
this does not change the issue that the revenge TEF has to go.

last time i checked, there was a 5 min imunity timer on any DoT after getting back up. this does not include DoT's applied after getting back up from incap.
5 mins after incap no dots will tick...i think u can still apply diseases...
after 5 mins the dot will tick again...
and any covert can DB a incapped enemy faction but doing so will cause them to be flagged with a tef...
the one thing that frustrates me more than anything is that as an overt the only time u can ever be jumped and taken off guard is with revenge tef...
any other time u can see and target your enemy but with a revenge tef u cannot no attack the guy until he attacks you and you cant even seen him on the radar as a red dot...
its really stupid that when I'm overt i can be snuck up on...
even nonrevengetef coverts cant sneak up on me because I can target them if they can target me...
there should be no reason in game right now that as an overt i can get snuck up on...
all it takes is one firekd and u are dead...no defense no counter u just lay there and die
I suggested Smelling Salts for situations where a person is mind incapped only."
Am I the only one who thinks this is actually a good idea? I don't see any situation where it would seriously outbalance things. You would only be able to use them if the target is incapped with negative mind damage. Once used the target would get a postive 100ish mind. Just enough for them to either stim themselves or get stimed and burst run out before they get incapped again and slain.
Perhaps make it a CM only medicine. Maybe even only master CMs can get it.
This would make me really happy with the whole mind damage situation. As it stands now anyone im hunting with who gets incapped because of mind damage just has to sit there until it regens.
I don't see how it would make CMs over powered and it wouldn't kill those professions that work with mind damage, but it would give that person time to get up back in the fight sooner.

Mind healing would completely break the dynamic of the game.
Even healing a mind-incapped player isn't a good idea in my opinion, although it wouldn't be game-breaking like general mind heal.

I haven't read much on the architect boards until today. Wow, I think I have found the nicest group of people. You guys actually take time to answer peoples questions politely and accurately. Nice to know that a spot exists where you can ask a question without getting your head chewed off
