Here is an idea for a specific type of furniture item that a guildmate of mine came up with:

A wall sign item. This would be used as a sign next to your vendor instead of having use the backpacks like we usually do. Just a simple square sign loking thing with alien text which would have the ability to set the name.

Not sure if this has been suggested before but its worth bringing up in case it hasnt.

Sigh.

So many times in the past I dunno. As far as I can tell it almost has to be a return of you know who to get signs in this game. Really REALLY wish there was a static manner of passing information WITHOUT using email. Email is a TERRIBLE management utility.

A Book

A Sign

A Tapestry

A Computer (oh no, not computers in Star Wars! )

A wooden sign on a stick

A little lawn gnome with a sign

A little lawn gnome, not with a sign but HOLDING yet ANOTHER little lawn gnome, who has a sign!

Static means to pass information. What a concept.

I didn't realize I was only supposed to list my top five favorites, but list them all and we'd pick later, but ok, my top 5:

1) Change the entire way we craft furniture. I'd like a 'couch' schematic, and then different options (a lot of different options)to choose from. Different options might need different materials, i.e., some sort of structural (wood/bone/metal) is needed if legs are going to be added, or maybesome colors are only available with certain types of leather/wood/metal. But we'd get some real experimentation and uniqueness going with furnishings then. For seating, the type of schematic could determine how many actual seats it held; chairs - 1, loveseats - 2, couches 3 or more.

2) Cabinets and chest must hold items.

3) Lights must work (that includes turning them off and on), but we need more of them and we need ones that hang from walls and ceilings.

4) Design of the building itself. I don't want 8 more static styles, I want to be able to do what real architects do, design buildings. I want to be able to add or not add basements, walls, fireplaces, windows, skylights, upstairs, balconies. The design of the interior itself is a huge thing.

5) More items. Rugs (let us determine size, shape, patterns, and of course, colors), other types of flooring/wallcoverings(wood, marble, tile, paint, wallpaper), room dividers, curtains, artwork, small vases with flowers, candles (that work), pillows, mosaics, office furniture, real aquariums, many more plant options (including vines), etc etc etc.

* I don't see the movement of items up, down, twisting them, or in increments of .1is an architectual professional problem. It's everyone's problem, so I'm not going to use up one of my five on that. But it is very necessary.*
