Thread: Almost 20 hours to factory make 100 walls! Give me a break
I agree with the original poster ALL factories are too **edit** slow, it's not just things that are made for Architects it's all things. Try being a Doctor and making some of the high end meds in that Profession, some of them take 280 seconds each to produce.
It's just another built in time sink so that we play longer, like the LONG shuttle waits we get some times etc. If you think about it there are built in time sinks all over the game, all over every online game and they are there so that we play longer and end up spending more money in the long run to play the game. A few seconds here and there DO add up over the course of a year and DO end up making us spend more money for an extra month here and there

And don't even get me started on why ore mining units don't crate up (even after 9 months of the question being asked)
If that was the issue you initially posted, than I would be in full support. That is ridiculous.
I really don't have much of a problem with factory times for the most part. Finished products should take a while, and components should take less time (which for the most part they do). 64 seconds is not a long time in the factory. Aludium pu36 (component used in Fishak and BoH, and anything else that requires alcohol) takes 192 seconds, and I easily make 4 or 5 times as much of this as I do struct modules. You practicallyhave to have multiple factories as a chef, armorsmith, etc. It really isn't necessary as an architect imho.
Besides, lack of resources slows me down way more than factory time when it comes to architect. And to me it's not even really a timesink. If factories worked really fast than the market would just be flooded. Factory time helps to stagger things out. Not to mention the issue shifting to slow resource extraction...
