So how much do these BE pets run around? I know we are in different galaxies but is there an average for a level 20 BE pet with pretty good HAM and resits around all the galaxies?

On Eclipse, I often see level 20 pets on the bazaar under deeds, with a max cost of no more than 3k obviously. The level 20 ones range anywhere from 3k to 6k ham depending on if it has higher resists or higher ham, or perhaps due to a special attack or two. Still though, just go to a bazaar terminal, go to the pet deeds section and click on entire galaxy if you need to...you should be able to find a pretty decent one there.

I have a few questions about some CH abbilities and some wild creatures:
-What do the embolden and enrage pet skills do? I did a search about it, but there were mixed answers. I would just like a straight and clear answer from an experienced Creature Handler.
-What are the most desireable wild pets to find and tame? What aboutthese creatures makes them so valuable? I'm not planning on selling them,I just want to have something to look for onceI hit master.

I can't really answer your first question (never use them) but for the second I would take a look at Tivo's list of rare pets that is posted at the top of this forum "Updated List of Rare Pets". The most desirable are definitely the rare ones for me. Nothing like getting the adoration of your peers when you can pull out a Screecher or a Bull Rancor or a Great Plains Stalker (I have none of the three I am one of the people giving the adoration not getting it hehe). Very cool. For other pets I would have to say everyone has their favorites. I have a Savage Humbaba (hope that's right) that is head and shoulders above any other mountable pet in size and I love riding it around town's, it's huge. Other people like the ground shakers like tortons or malklocs that shake the heck out of cities.
So bottom line rare's are what everyone looks for and then whatever pet you think is the coolest. I would check Tivo's post and look at www.swgcreatures.com for the best pets. Good hunting and May the Force be With You.

making pets go enrage does boost the damage a good amount...but they do seem to get hurt a lot more. If you have 2 or 3 pets out then it enrages them all ...at a higher cost to you.
I havent tried playing with embolden much...but if it does boost ham, then it sounds like a good ability!! (even if its a short while)

Desirable really is subjective unless you want tanks. If you want tanks then high ham, high resist pets are the best. At the mid-level of CH the boar wolf from endor is a good pig style animal that can tank very well.
I'm still not master so haven't started the rare hunt yet. I like mounts and cats. I finally got a grand wrix baby and when it grows up in a couple of days its going to be awesome. I prefer the wrix/gurreck skins over the razor cat skins personally and cats make cool pets for following you around a town ( IMHO
).
My favorite mount is the cu pa although I feel sorry for this one cu pa I see on occassion whose master is a large wookie. I just know the poor cu pa is sway back by now LOL.

Embolden buffs your pets' HAM for about 30 seconds. That's too short to last an entire battle in most cases (if you can win in 30 seconds, you probably don't need to buff your pets' HAM). If your pet is on the ropes, though, it can be useful to keep them going long enough for you to hit them with some stims.
Enrage puts one of your pets into the Berserk state, making them deal out and receive moredamage in battle. If you have more than one pet out, the one that gets put into Berserk seems to be random. I've been told recently that this doesn't seem to actually affect the damage your pet dishes out. I'm checking into that.

Well, I'm a new player to Star Wars Galaxies (2 weeks or so), and I recently became a Novice Creature Handler. After accomplishing this, I set out to search some sites for basic creature handler guides. While there were many guides available and most of them very good, they all seemed to go a little more in depth than I would have liked.Does anyone know where I could find a rather simple Q and A that could answer questions such as "How long does it usually take for a pet to go from baby to adult?". Any help is appreciated, and thank you in advance.

We really, really need to update the FAQ here. Maybe I'll work on a new one this weekend sometime.
Wish I could answer with a site, but I don't know of one. To answer your specific question though, anywhere from three to twelve days. Be sure you log in once a day, and take the pet out, and have it do a trick if it knows one. It grows slightly faster that way. Average (for me at least) is about 5-7 days.

Time to throw in a wrench.
125 is the cap without racial bonuses. Racial bonuses stack on top of the 125 cap. For example, human master artisans can get 13 experimentation points because they can get their artisan experimentation over 130.

+25 not 125. +25 is the hard cap on skill enhance items. Things like chef foods, skill modifiers from other professions or racial bonues still impact as normal. All items though are hard capped at +25.
