Thread: A Few Questions...
Sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm new to the Artisan genre and I could use a little help if you guys are willing. Here's where I'm confused:
- I just mastered Artisan, now I'm trying to get through DE as quick as possible. Should I stick to using a crafting macro, or should I invest in a factory? Do factories even grant XP?
- I'm having trouble finding the resources I need. Is there a website out there that gives known hotspots for current resources? Has anyone ever tried to locate resource locations in the update files?
- With having to but tons of harvesters & resources, in addition to the maintenance they require, I'm broke. I'm just barely keeping my harvesters running by running destroy missions all day. How do you guys make a profit? I tried making & selling vehicles but it seems Im not making a profit with all the resources it takes to make them. What am I doing wrong here?
Any help here would really be appreciated. Thanks.
2) A number of websites have listed resources but they are usually out of date because people want the resources for themselves. Resource maps aren't client-side.
3) Sale you stuff for more money
I just have a few questions about the CH profession...
I'm a CH and have skills 1/1/1/1. So I can have level 20 pets and up to 6 pets. Now my best pet at the moment is a bio-engineered level 12 gurrcat with just over 3k HAM. I am thinking of getting a new pet. I think I want a good tank so I can solo difficult missions to get more CH exp. So should I get a CH petor a BE pet? and what kind of pet is best? Also,is there anyone in Naritus who has good pets I can get?
I think I used my level 19 ravaging gackle bat a lot at that level. Like a 180-190 attack, decent ham but generates a lot of xp, and holds off stuff real good. You get more from using a lower loevel of pet but you'd need some skills or a group to take the mob.
I also would use a low level pet in a party where I knew we could take it without the pet. Send the pet in, either first or last, fire off a 'follow' command and you still get the same xp.
The bats are on yavin4, in mixed lairs (ravaging, giants, puny, and regular) at least that I've seen. I caught it in the wild and at the time was pretty happy about grabbing it. The mix in the lair makes it a tricky grab. I think I did it on my bike and just took the hits and an incap in the process. Depends on the mix of what's around.
Don't remember if it's a level 1 or 2 tame since I think I did 2-1-1-0 first to get to lvl 20.
