Whoa!! I totally blew by this!

You better have a good reason for this buddy. You are libelling my name. Everything I've said on here is what I've said in the game and I sold Enhanced +98% effective tools and stations which is exactly what they are.

I don't appreciate you libelling and slandering me, even in a game, and I would hope that a forum rep is reading this and will take the appropriate action.

SOE, If this is true, I request you do take some immediate action as this is libel.

You receive a 1% bonus per every 2 points of functionality rating (approximately) when making crit fail checks so a FR(40) = 20% while a FR(15) = 7.48%. The FR also gives the same bonus when experimenting values are taken into effect which produce results of (critical failure, failure, moderate failure, moderate success, success, great success, and amazing success). The larger the bonus the higher your success rate with experimenting.

Howerver, experimentation is always (min-max) dependant on the resources you use. So if you use a 970 resource you will never go over 97% ever, regardless of the results.

I hope that is a little better response that you may have been looking for.

you even have a little FAQ apparantly you send to peoplethat clearly statesthat anyone who says 45 stations are better are lying, thatyours are better. You stop telling people your stations are the same as rela's and others, and I'll stop calling you a scammer.

Wormwood, I've degraded to rage. You are a dumb ass that cannot read. There's some libel back for you.

That still has nothing to do with stations made without hoppers.

And as Istated in the beginning, hoppers are controversial(not to mention the bug that eats resources, I've yet to hear that has been fixed)

It's clear your postings are for the sole purpose of selling your stations. Go for it. I could care less.

Also stated in the beginning, I'm not selling this stuff anymore. I need the skill points for something else.

And for everyone else, all +98% stations (without hoppers), 98.5 tools, 32/16 powerups, (singly or by crates) are 100 credits for whatever you buy. Yes, crates are 100 credits.

Also, for anyone interested in competing against this guy, send me a tell, I'll sell you the ore veryvery cheap.

Arghhhhhhhhh!

stationsare not controversial, you get a station with a 42 rating, and it is superior to a 14 station, you tell people otherwise, and you are lying, at first I thought you were confused and new, now I'm certain you are just a cheat too lazy to make components for stations.

I don't sell stations. I buy them from honest people like pikachewey, rela, rek and others. The reason I am 'persecuting poor you' is because you stole from me, and not only did you steal, you had the audacity to attempt to invoke the csrs in your shallow defense, and even now you are pandering to some imaginary support group.

rage, namecall, shout, bite all you want. You will not sell your stations to my friends whilst lying to them again.Period.

Actually, in theory yes, you are supposed to do better in front of a 40+ station than you are in front of a 15+ station but, to tell you the truth, I fail more in front of mine than I do one that is 14+.

I made a 33+ (weapons, droid station) from messing around and was using that to do all the experimentation on the new items and was crit failing left and right on the experimentation and I moved back to my normal one and didn't fail once on experimentation (master artisan).

I think there may be a bug in the way the bonus is calculated or I just had a strak of bad luck.

The effectiveness rating on the final experimentation of the station is based upon how effective your experimentation was based on the ingrediants you used. Because the optional parts are optional and not required they do not count against how effective your experimentation is if you don't use them.

By not using optional parts you lower the final functionality rating and that is what matters to the people you are selling to and is what matters to the games system when adding bonus's.

Here's the info you want

Remember... the base functionality on a station is -15 to +15. so this is the formula you use to calculate it's functionality:

( (Conductivity/1000) x 30 ) - 15

or quite simply (conductivity x 0.03) - 15

NOTE: I use the word conductivity here, as I ALWAYS experiment to max effectiveness. So that's the true value for me. If you don't have the points to do it, replace conductivity with your effectiveness % multiplied by 10(it will not be 100% accurate, as you won't have a true decimal value).

Ok, now for the subcomponents. They are worth -5 to +5.

You measure them in a similar manner, but with the apprpriate stat(s).

In short tho, a station gets modifiers from each subcomponent used... even the subcomponents used in a subcomponent.

so thats..
+5 Droid Storage Module
+5 Control Unit
+5 Micro Sensor Suite
+5 Conrol Unit(used in Microsensor)
+5 Electronics GP Module(used in Microsensor)
+5 Energy Distributor(used in Microsensor)
-----------------------------------------------
+30 Total

So, that gives us a +15 on the station, and a +30 on the subcomponents, for a MAXIMUM of +45.

I hope this clears up a few things for your guys... And yes, I can predict the outcome of my stations to 5 decimal places.

There is a thread somewhere (I was actually trying to find it when I read this one, I wish I had bookmarked it), that shows that crafting stations over 30 have no effect on experimentation and increase crit fails.

I wanted to double check that thread to see if anyone has confirmed this? I have personally seen a great increase in crit fails recently. I had assumed it was server side, but I did indeed move to a crafting station that is over 30.

Wouldn't surprise me to see that the devs got the formula exactly backwards.

then you need to craft more. this is how all crafting works. the schematic tells you what you need.

there is 99% conductive material btw.

On your server maybe, but not necessarily on the posters server.

On chilastra we have had a 999 OQ Aluminum (Sirihe) and a 998 Conductivity Copper (Dibapek) but no assumptions can be made on other servers.

Good information though, crafting is complex and it is good to see it layed out for people.
