I am with Hunden on this one, and is why I split my original response into three categories.

My issues, in order of importance to me:

Lack of experimentation on fusions and solars.

Ore mining units don't crate.

We want new types of furniture and Correlian Housing.

Change the structure factory to 1 lot like every other factory in the game.....or make it work like two factories in one: double storage and double speed.

Please add experimentation to factories so that it does something......preferably speed, but even just storage would be better than nothing.

Lots of other things I consider issues, but these are my top 5.Other things:

/move {up/down}....is not a specific Architect issue, so lets not waste a top 5 spot on it....but it is very important overall.

Animations are also a game-wide issue, not just ours....same with the power display bug.

I would like to see coloring kits, for furniture and houses. I want to make the basic colors, and someone can color it to suit themselves....or hire me to come do it for them...I do not want to have to try and stock 10 colors of each thing I can make. Especially with the vendor changes coming in.

The balance of heavy vs. medium makes sense to me...you want the fastest pull rate...you pay for it. You want more efficient, go a bit slower. Analogy is cars...my Grand Prix GTP is one of the fastest cars in my little town, but I only get 18MPG when I push it...my wifes Kia can be outrun by an energetic snail, but gets near 40MPG. And my GTP cost quite a bit more initially.

Overall, I agree with the rest of the list, and the other stuff mentioned in others' posts. But most of that seems to be "neat stuff, but not a huge deal" I would like to see alot if it, but I think the above listed items are more critical to the profession.

Decay gets my nr 1 vote.

Then experimentation on Fusions

Experimentation on Factory efficiency as nr 3

4. Player Garages

5th. err, ummm, reduce lots taken by structure factory ?

For decay I quite like the idea that the cost of maintenance goes up over time. This would be typical in RL and does not force anybody to do something about it. Owners could choose whether to replace, repair or continue to pay higher maintenance.Maybe there comes a point when if corrective action is not taken then 'true decay' sets in and the building actually begins to deteriorate. Combine thiswith a 'one use only' repair tool solution as suggested in other posts (which maybe stops working beyond a certain level of decay), or maybe a tool that will repair x number of decay points (to make it usable repeatedly until exhausted, or to repair only as much as there are 'charges' left in it).

I am trying to describe a situation that has parallels with RL because I believe that then it becomes more easily accepted by gamers, like, 'sure, that's how it is with my car, gets more expensive to run every year, maybe it's time I bought a new one...'

Maybe needs some work on it, maybe too complex to figure out, but I like it anyways.

I'd agree with any issue-list that have the power harvester experimentation at the top.

Why are we even still debating structure decay. It is such a MOOT point. They already decay. It's called Maintenance. I don't understand the need to force this issue for repeat business. If you want repeat business do as I do and deliver on time, highest quality possible, and do so at reasonable rates for your server. I have almost 11 million credits banked and have been a Master since September.

As for my issues, whether a bug or a wish, they still need fixing:

1. Experimentation on fusions and solars.

2. Experimentation on factory efficiency.

3. Crate OMU's. This has been around since day one. You fixed pulling structure modules from crates, which was a much harder code fix I would assume.

4. Customization for furniture and houses, even if it's just adding a color pallet.

5. Pulling items from directly from crated items in crafting station input hoppers.

Good input everyone. If you haven't voted yet then please do so.

Personally I would put bugs on our issue list because I haven't seen any indication whatsoever from SOE that these are known issues that they intend to fix. If there is a known bug list they have posted somewhere that they say they are working on fixing then we can remove such items from our list. But as it is I think our top 5 list is the only/best way to bring important bugs to their attention and make sure that those bugs get fixed FAST rather then whenever they eventually get around to it.

  • Power display/loss bug on harvesters

  • Some Factory units not crating(Ore mining units, Deeds)

  • Lack of experimentation on fusions & solars

  • Colorization on housing interiors & furniture(for God's sake, even the vehicles have gotten colors already)

  • Creator on factory-produced items is listed as the factory owner: Would like to see this changed to either 1)the creator of the schematic or 2)The person starting the factory run. Preferably option 1.

  • Yes, the last one may not be as important if the factory only took 1 lot, as there would be less to keep out factory on someone else's lots. But it seems to me that the person who should recieve the credit for an item is the schematic creator.

    My top 5:

#1 - Lack of experimentation on Solars and Fusions
#2 - Display Bug on harvester for power balance
K - Structure factory should take up 1 lot
I - "levitate command" - allow players to raise objects
B - New types of furninture / different colors

Here's my thought on decay --- either:

    a) Make it so that maintence on a house gradually becomes higher and higher over time. A 1 month old house has a maintence of x. A 2 month old house has a maintenace of 1.5x. 3 months = 2x...and so on until the maintenace of the old house becomes so great that it just makes more sense to buy a new one. Its also up to the player to make this choice when that should happen

    or

    b) Give a portion of the maintenance paid on structures to the architect that built the house. Not sure what the right percent is 1% or so, or whether is should stay fixed (maybe it should decrease over time).

I should ask, is that your vote or did your cat walk across your keyboard?

If its a vote then you've got 'D' three times, please just one vote per item.

For me the top 5 are :

    #1 : Structure Factory takes 2 lots

#2 : No way to move items up and down in houses

#3 : Power display on Harvs

#4 : No experimentation on Fusion and Solar

#5 : Ore Mining Units and Deeds dont crate up.

the problem with putting forward bugs as top 5 issues is that they are already know bugs and are allready of the fix list. imo this is just a waste of a wish.

omu's being uncrated is a bug, this is known and will eventually be fixed.

extractor animations and misreported power use is a bug, known and on the fix list..

    etc..

things like color for furniture, /up /down, and the great decay debate are the issues we need to look at, decide (vote) on 5 and put them forward as a united front. in a few months time we will be asked to do another top 5 list i am sure, so if we have more than 5 this time, we can just file them away for later use...

i wouldnt waste any of the top 5's on a bug. howevera side note in the introduction should list these bugs with the question of a time frame for the fixes... or maybe make 1 of the top 5 titled "bugs" and address all bugs under this one heading...

    food for thought

Bugs are known to the devs, yes. Wishlists are known also, unless someone's come up with something radically different than what has been wanted since the game began. Most of the items on our wishlist are on general player wishlists anyway.

The reason for limiting it to 5 is to give the devs a priority list. Deciding whether you prefer bugs fixed or get new content is a debate that has happened since programming was invented

M - Please add experimentation to factories so that it does something.

    Also

Large House for Archs not using 6 lots as long as it's a declared residence.

And finally... NO DECAY! Maint is enough in my opinion.
