I amnota member of this profbut I ama customer who has been hard at work decorating all 10 lots plus his yacht for months and months and bought a ton of stuff from my friendly neighborhood architects.A great deal of my decorating involved candles, myself being one of those guys who does like to put things like a big chandelier in his house. And I doubt I am ever buying another candle again with this change in place, because it's just too damn much work to replace 'em all. For the sake of architects everywhere, I hope some alternative is adopted because I am sure many people feel the same.

Yea, I had like 15 candles in my house, and I'm definaltey NOT going to replace them, nor the light bulbs. I loved the way I decorated my house. Took me 4 days and around 5mil creds. Now it's down to shambles because the lighting was an important part of the deco.

Really devs, what the f*** were you thinking?

Now if they added an option on the house menu "replace all burned out candles / lights", I would gladly buy all the stock the architects have if I had the option to replace the stuff on one click. But I won't do it manually, not even if they put a "replace" option in the burnt out stuff, since many of my lamps / candles are inside other objects to make it look like they're shining (like LS Crystals) and it would be a pain in the arse to pickup the cyrstals and place them back to replace the lamps.

I will not replace all of the lamps and candles in my many structures, way too time consuming.

I would re-charge or replace bulbs/wicks if the option was available on the radial menu.

If the devs dont seem inclined to institute the "recharge" option, I will simply be placing a bunch of torches instead. They dont burn out........yet.

Tiggs posted about a fix for the lights going to TC:

We are in the process of pushing out a hotfix forcandles and lamps.Candles and lamps which had turned "off" will be "on" again. Once this is out on the server I will make another post to let you know.

And have an input hopper that you access from the structure management terminal. Drop the wick/wax/bulb into the hopper and the candle/lamp automatically feeds off of that when it reaches zero condition.

/wishful thinking off
