I for one will like to have a garage in my own town and will be building it.


I dont' use the exploit though. I know a lot of people do though. But even so I think most cities like to have the full set of buildings if/when they can get them.

You may be right, and I'll be happy if most cities do. Right now I think people taking advantage of the bug is as much to avoid the annoyance of finding a garage as it is a way to save a few credits.


This goes back to my biggest problem with the implementation of maintenance in SWG. It's not just a credit sink, it's also a time sink, and a big one. We can't remotely maintain harvesters or buildings, we have to find a garage to repair our vehicle, now we have to actually replace placed lighting fixtures when they burn out. At least they could have made it so that we could drop a new bulb item into the placed lamp! Even with the new /move up /move down functions, it's still going to be a hassle most players would rather avoid.
