Thread: Critically Failing on Houses= Ridiculous
The two factories I've tried to make have both been critical failures. There is no way in hell I am ever going to try to make a Guild Hall, I know fora **edit** fact I will fail on that too.
What is the deal devs? We want an answer on this right now...we cannot continue to play a game that randomly deletes 2 weeks of resources!
Critical failures on multi-component items is CRAP. Fix it or you wont have any architects to keep the game going.
Seems to me like +Structure Assembly shows up in the Furniture line.... maybe everyone is getting such high failure rates because we're shooting up the harvestor and house side without stopping for the +Assembly in Furniture....
Just a thought.

FIX THIS PROBLEM NOW!!!
It's just, as the thread title says, RIDICULOUS this fail-rate system!
Not a single Profession other than the weaponsmith and craftsman get failures - marksmen dont FAIL a shot and loose it all! ..
High maintance cost and power-trouble should be enough. Why do our houses, factories and PA-HALLS keep failing in the final step?? .. ![]()
This is a game-stopper - fix it!!

Itdoesnt help Ive tried it. The reaosn it doens thelp is that it only has Structure Experimentaiton in there. Correct me if Im wrong but in beta wasnt there a Structure Assembly modifier there. Myabe this is a bug and is the reason why we fail so much on the more complex items?
Actually reading this board I decided to look at the architecture tree. Guess what..
Furniture Modest has a skill bonus: Structure assembly: This skill mod determines the chance of succeeding when crafting structures.
I agree, the critical failures on the main structural assembly can be a little too.. disruptive. Perhaps it's no big deal if you got a huge PA outfit going, where you can just get more resources and try again, but for the casual player this is a death blow.
And since SOE has said they're trying to cater to casual players too it would stand to reason they could lower the risk on the final assembly just a little bit.
Just yesterday I failed twice, in a row, on a
Frickin' board! Suddenly I've made two half finished posts, without hitting any buttons.. If only we could remove them. :/ Anyway, this the full thing: (Which of course didn't go through, cause the server was 'busy'.)

Just yesterday I failed twice, in a row, on a small house. It sucks when you think you finally are in a position to save from a failure, the customer standing there waiting, and you know you /finally/ have enough ore in your backpack to recover from a failure. (That doesn't happen all that often for me.) And then the thing crit. fails a second time, and now you have to run around to the bazaar and hand mine stuff to be able to recover. It sucks. ![]()
Cheers,

Also, think of a critical failure on a PA hall :0 That will set you *several hundred thousand* credits back in one push of a button.
I fail my Equipment Factory tonight I'll go CRAZY!! ..

Holo, Q... Any official answer on this?? It gotta be!

Heard about someone failing a PA hall.. that's actually the worst thing that can happen as a Architecht! ![]()
