Twi'lek here aswell and wouldnt change it for anything. I've never even thought about it until late and was looking at other races with some envy, but since I've been doing nicely imo. I see no reason to change unless your tired of that race you're playing right now.

I've been a rodian doc forever. It works fine.

My doc used to be a twi lek. I deleted her and made a human instead, I haven't looked back since. Being able to boost willpower and focus makes a big difference to me when fighting. Getting doc back took no time too, pistoleer was a bit longer though hehe.

With the new brandy, it doesn't make a difference. I'm a mon cal, we get a max of 1300/800/650. With a double-dip of brandy, I'm 2140/1640/1490. You'd be 1840/1340/1340. What's the big deal? You don't need nearly that much for buffing, just pop one brandy and a bivoli. OR, if you're that paranoid, pay for a dancer/music buff, and then dip a brandy. You've got nothing but options with the character you have.

Enjoy it while it lasts. Human's used to have their secondaries capped at 600 instead of 1100. It was changed (I think) during the october d-day patch. It wasn't listed in the patch notes and just sorta happened. One day a Human logs in and they can move their secondaries anywhere. Many think it's a bug and have been asking the devs for months if it is intended or not since it virtually makes all other HAM benefits from other species obselete. Of course they have yet to respondsince the devs never tell us anything.

Why be a Trandoshan with an 800 const when you can just be Human and bump it to 1100? Why be a Zabrak with a 900 willpower when you can just be a Human and bump it up to 1100? Why be a Twi'lek with a quickness minimum of 600 when you can just be a Human and bump it up to 1100? I suspect this is a bug and will be addressed in the future. Maybe in the almighty combat revamp, who knows.

I'm a human and a master doc. I got ALL my stat points in my 3 mind stats. Even while wearing full Ubese armor, my mind stats are in the 500-600s which is better than most people unarmored. If I'm battling and my mind starts to drop, I hit my armor/clothes change macro, run out of melee range unarmored and wait a few secs for it ro regen. Works great even w/out drugs/food.

I would recommend Zabraks, willpower is the most important stat IMO, and equilibrium is very useful when your mind pool is running low

Id switch from Rodian to Zabrak if I were given the choice , but i'm curious to see the JTL race bonuses. I sent like 4 questions on the stratics Dev Chat relating to the new species bonuses... Guess they dont want to release the info just yet

Is there a comprehensive overview of the different racial bonuses/negatives? I haven't seen one. I'm Rodian because I thought it'd be cool but I recently found out they're good fighters. I don't even know why that is. Can someone help me?

There is at the inital Character Generation Screen. But just to let you know, Rodians have

+10 One-handed accuracy

+10 Two-handed accuracy

and then something geared towards weapon crafting and being an architect

The downside to being a Rodian is that all the Substats max out at around 600.

Hope that helps.
