Yes, they are better. They get a +10 bonus to structure crafting which means a better chance of success. I believe this meansless criticals. And they can sample longer without a break if that makes a difference. But if you're planning on getting 3 ATSTs like I am (I have 1 already), human will save you lots of time/faction points.

You can be any race; you can be male or female; you can customize your character to the same degree that all characters are customized. It is the same character creation process.

This: is a Bothan.

Lately... I have been seriously contemplating recreating my character to a new race.

Currently I'm a Rodian, and have been since day 1 when SWG came out. I'm going to go Doctor and drop CH once I master CH. The main problem with deleting and recreating is that I'll lose all my work from doing my holo's.

Do you all see being a Rodian as a large drawback worth enough to delete (1000/500/550 max mind stats)? If I remade as a human I could get 1100 mind 800 focus and 1100 will. Though humans are a dime a dozen, I don't find being unique a large enough benefactor to stay. Any input, suggestions, or reassurance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Is it possible for you to unlock then switch? Seems to me like that would be the best solution, if you're silent on your holos. If you're not silent, then just recreate if you want to be doc. Human and Zabrak docs tend to be the best suited for the profession.

Please do not confuse me with Siff. This handle comes from a nickname I had on another game I used to play.

I picked Twilek when I started as you guessed it a dancer...have since done carbines (dabbled), tk (mastered), medic, and doc. With my stats and some brandy and vagnerian I do just fine as a doc.

I cant see rerolling your character unless you are just sick of looking at it, at least you didnt pick wookie who has many downsides. But ultimately it is up to you what kind of character you want to play....you could always start on another server as a different race too and see if you like it before you switch your main character.

If you unlock jedi, and then delete the charecter you unlocked with, you lose your fscs. I would just take food.

Take it from a guy who agonized for days as to what race to create my TKA with and ended up doing TKA/Doc with a Twi'lek

Race doesn't mean a thing in this game (unless you want to be a wookie in armor)

Don't re-roll it will be of only marginal benefit. Take a few brandys and you'll be fine.

I'm a zabrak, and I really wish I'd picked human. equilibrium is ok, but the 500 focus cap sucks.

If you've already done a lot of Holo work with your current character I'd say stick with it since I'm pretty sure you CAN make a new one once you have a jedi since it pretty much gives you a second account on that server (I could be horribly mistaken but that's what it appears to be).

Other than that I know if I was going to create a doctor from scratch I would not pick a rodian.
