I don't consider 45 my record, that was a fluke.
exactly my point in my original post - bragging that you broke the server's record for best crafting station is lame when it was a fluke
Perhaps your mistake is comparing your accomplishments to mine. If your goal is to do better than you have previously, then there'sstill room to improve. But why let my success belittle yours? I've never killed a rancor, does that mean it's meaningless when I do just because others have done it before me? If your goal in an MMO is to be better than everybody else, you're in for disappointment. Hell, it's just like real life. No matter how good you are there's someone out there who's better.
there is wisom in your words here. unfortunately it doesn't change the fact that my stock of 43.5 stations has considerably less value today than it did monday. my customers came to me because i had the best stations available. they don't necessarily care how - they just want the best. and i can't blame them
i can blame the devs who don't seem to give a **edit** about the people who play this game. or is it that they don't even understand the game they made? i often wonder if they actually play this game

The problem isn't that they changed the rules - the problem is that they changed them and then revoked the change right away. It didn't happen because of TC players, it happened in spite of them. It happened because of a vocal group of people who were against a change that they didn't fully understand and had never actually tried.
Well, those people got what they wanted and have nothing to complain about. Then there are those who didn't object to the change but didn't help test it either - and I'm sorry to say they are the same as people who don't vote at all on Election Day and then complain when the newly elected official makes changes they don't like.
If you want input into the process, if you want to make sure that you won't be the victim of changes about which you had no say - then you really ought to be playing on TC. If you can't or don't, well...it's said that citizens get the government they deserve, and it's not a very different situation here.
