I wanted to be able to strip mine entire planets, create ruined shells of exploited asteroids, etc., etc. Architect seemed the best way to start. Unfortunately, the devs gotirritants upon theirsensitive parts (keeping it clean!)about permanent planetary artwork destruction, or something, so the best I could do was clutter up the countryside with ugly harvesters and generic houses. At least the ring around Coronet (et al) makes a reasonably permanentattempt at realistic suburban blight.

I have worked in the construction industry on and off for 16 years. I love building things. I like the joy of looking at something I built with my own hands. I have my doubts many people here have built a rifle, droid, or piece of armor in real life. But I am sure many have had some experience with home construction

This summer a fellow employee and I built a retaining wall and step from Pisa2 block. The bottom layer looked like a funnel with the bottom next to the house, the flare out towards the lawn. Each progressive level flared out more, which is how we made the steps up onto the higher lawn. I loved just sitting and looking at that job when it was done.

It was my joy of building that made me want to be an architect. I knew it when I took the game home last July.

Oh, and the money can be very good, lately, since there are fewer and fewer architects. I have no trouble selling harvesters. If I drop 20 large harvesters on my vendor, they all sell in a day or 2. I finally just gave up andnow set up for factory runs of 100heavy mineral harvesters. I do have to thank the many people in my city who mine for me. Without them helping me with ore and metal, I could never keep up with demand

My husband was our cities Architect, he kept it as long as possile while grinding for jedi. When the point came where he had to drop it my holo told me ... guess what? Architect

Here am I, Architect since around 7 months now, and I like it very much
