Considering all it takes for a large is 6k-ish Metal and 7k-ish Low grade with another 1-2k or so of 7 other ores to make, 50k credits for a house?I laugh at all the greedy people who power grinded up this skill. No way, well not very easily, do other classes have this ability to make that kinda creds. armor is broke, droids are broke, weapons are the only real constant and they break it too with decay. So, before I will pay anyone that kinda money, I will grind the skill myself (and have a blast doing so) and undercut everyone I could to sell my product on every planet. Thebells of supply and demand ring true. Best wishes for everyone to be profitable.

Why not sell ur houses for a marginal profit...factoring in your expenses. I have architects tell me that it takes about 30K to make a medium house (with harvestor costs and misc. costs).....does that mean it has to sell for 60-70k? NO it doesnt...sell it for 40K...take 10K and be happy.

Some people just think that they should get as much profit out of stuff as they possibly can....thats great but this is not a static economy.....SUPPLY AND DEMAND! Dont run 10 medium harvestors so u can build 10 medium houses...run a couple for a day or 2...make 2 house deeds....take 20k in ur pocket and repeat.

This is absurd... Medium Houses should be 80k, 90k for generic at least. I don't care what the costs are. It costs me about 40k to make them if I don't fail on the pieces involved, but I would never sell below 60k w/o bartering. I have to pay upkeep on my house, my harvesters, my factory, my vendors, buy architect skills, buy merchant skills, get a couple crafting droids, buy my rifle and probot, and have some money left over to buy from miners to make more houses.

I'm not saying that those costs run wildly, but they do exist. I'll make something at cost if a person supplies the resources too, just for xp. Also, I shouldn't sell AT COST regardless of what that may be. I need more money to expand and make bigger things. Where do you think my harvesters and factory came from? I had extra money to make those so I did. Where is my PA Hall going to come from? That's right, I need to have money in the bank for it. I'm soloing my way up the architect tree, so it costs more for me, but I'm doing fine. I always have customers lined up, and a steady flow of money going in and out. I enjoy it.

40k for a Medium is absurd though. It's nice that people multi-box and use other people's lots and all, but I don't and my prices reflect that.

OK... for all of you that think that Architect Profession is raping and pillaging and ruining the economy or charging WAY too much... read this post about someone that's selling their mining business and that stats they provided.
