I'm new to the personal harvester thing; just got myself one, since I'm a combat player looking for extra resources and cash. What exactly is the resource shift that you're talking about? Do stats on various minerals/chemicals/ores go up/down periodically, or what?


- The density locations of resources shift.
- The actual resources themselves shift (for instance, there is currently no Class 4 Liquid Petro Fuel on Wanderhome).
- The quality of resources shift (yes, stats go up and down).
- A whole galaxy shares a Mineral and Chemical list, but not every planet has all of them.
- Each planet has it's own list of Flora, Wind, Solar, Bone, Hide, Meat, Egg, and Fiberplast resources. No planets share resource types or stats for these.
- swgcraft.com has a comprehensive and up to date list of resources available on each galaxy, but does not provide waypoints to them.


If you want to mine for fun and profit, I suggest hooking up with a crafter or Miner so they can tell you where to set your harvesters. Otherwise you'll only be guessing what you'll be mining.
