I would like to thank Vatican, archon, and Lobe for their helpin making this crafting station possible.

I think the max is 45 also. Given Alcoy's numbers and the numbers I have. I should be able to come up with a formula for the best station that could be made given the properties of the materials. BTW, the crafting station I made is on Valcyn also.

The reason i think its 50 is because by increasing my suites by just a fraction of a point I was getting like .4 gains on the crafting station. Considering I'm only making 90% suites, If I were to increase it another 10% it would be atleast a 4 point increase, which would put mine in the 48's

Were you raising the (hidden) rating of other components/subcomponents at the same time as the micor sensor suite though or was it only changes being made in the SS. IE did you raise the % of the Electronic GP for example as well as raising the % of the SS?

All subcomponenets are considered differently in the final combine, you can use a 10% Elec GP as a subcomponent or a 99% Elec GP and as long as you use the same raw materials (non-components) in the SS asembly you will still get 90% for example.

The difference in using the better Elece GP doesnt show in the % displayed for experimentation it is recorded as a hidden number much like stations Functionality Rating used to be completely hidden before the patch that made them visible.

I think I know what your asking .

I did make an increase to all the subcomponents that built the SS. I ran a test without raising any other components of the station like droid modules and control unis. I was seeing about a .2 raise in the overall station and my SS was still 90% using only a single quality SS mixed with a lesser SS actually. It was by mistake that i had 2 mismatched. it made like a 43.08 station up from 42.89.

I am also kinda wondering if you can just use a quality component first and then mix with a pos component and still get the same number. As if the engine only check the stats of the first on you put into a crafting slot. Be intresting test anyways. If that were true that would decrease my .4 per point idea by half.

Oh and I know my grammer and spelling sucks .

Now i see you need more info. The increase in the subcomponents for the SS was only raising the metal slots from 983 to 999. Wasnt a massive change.

It uses a total of 88 metal (100% OQ) throughout all the subcomponents. That is more than the inert gas or polymer. All good data though.

Bleh I thought I was selling too cheap at 25k, and immiedatly i get flamed for being overpriced. Some other Arch comes in and sells 41.9's for 10k. I wouldnt have minded him just posting his competition but to hide it in a quasi-flame. Why is it that the Archs are so cut throat compared to the weapon and armorsmiths.

Heres the post from the Chilastra forum.

Fuss, it took me about 3 days to make approx 20 crafting stations by factory (I do not play constantly, but I play a lot, much more than the 'casual gamer'). I did factory so i could have the consistency.

Time-wise, i hardly think 25k is too much to be asking. In fact once the effectivenss of stations are OFFICIALLY confirmed, i think you should RAISE your prices, but that is just my opinion. Like everything else an archi makes, Once someone has a good station, it's unlikely you'll be selling them another (at least to replace the one they have).

I charged 500cr per point whole point of effectiveness. So my 42.64 stations went for 21k, and i had 0 problems selling them...

Question: I'm Master Artisan and working my way to Master Architect (just need Construction Tech 1-4). If I get Novice Droid Engineer, will I be able to experiment on the Droid Storage Compartments to make these uber crafting stations?

The reason I'm confused (among other reasons) is that I get 11 experimentation points when I make the crafting stations even though I get 1 experimentation point on other architect items. So if I train novice Droid Eng, will I get 11 experimentation points or 1?
