I still have a schematic for BER7 OMUs from the experimentation tuesday and to date, I have not been able to replicate a BER14 Mineral Installation, even when getting final construction to 99%.

Its an interesting theory, but with thte amount of resources that can go into this, i would have to use my 10cpu steel, which is called rohi. probably the best to drop. And i have to point out that you say even if it didnt work, you could make loads of BER 13's, you couldnt, we all know you need 2 identical serial OMU's, you could manually knock up some BER 1's or use em for factories, but not for the big stuff, still if anyone on ahazi wants to try it i'll tip 500k for your efforts!

Well, I already have the 100% experimented BER7 OMU's, just running up the other components at the moment.
Wonder how many resources I will blow trying this theory out

Not sure if this is relevant, but reading the thread, the more i think it is, I was makeing some Contol Units for craft stations (yes hand crafting them), same resources, one came out at 94%, the rest at 93% . I can't say i noticed why, but in each case i remember having points left over. but one unit was a 1% higher for some reason.

I don't doubt that there are some circumstances where you can squeeze out 1 more percentage point.
However, my guess is that how the crafting calculation is set up is that there is a difference between going from 91 -> 92 and going from 99 -> 100. I suspect that it is very unlikely go make that last jump to 100%. And you would have to do it both on the OMU and then on the final assembly. Even if it is possible, how many tries are you willing to run? 10? 100? 500?
