Thread: How rich are you
I've found it very easy to make a living as an architect. I sell the big stuff (heavy mineral, large houses) for 4 credits/resource, and furniture for 5-6 credits per resource. My biggest problem is keeping up with demand.
hehe.. what a thread! I'm always broke, but then, I'm really not in it for the coin.. just trying to have fun.. sell to ppl that ask or happen to wander by my humble abode.. cleared 200k last weekend.. that was a one time shot tho.. usually never have more than 75k
Not PA backed, pure independent.. many, many med/heavy deeds in stock tho..

4-1-2-4 Armorsmith, should be master soon, and also funding a friend's drive to master WS.
Approx 1 mil resources on hand.
How to make money as an architect: Run at least 20 harvesters, sell structures for no less than 5 cred/res, if people aren't buying, sell resources at 3.
You WILL always make money.
650k, down about 350k in the last two weeks. In that time I've sold, um, two small houses and a large house. I have almost everything I can craft sitting on my planetary vendor. No sales.
Living on Talus is a bit of a drag...I think there are still dozens of players on the moon.
Im in a PA but not supported by them. I average around 250K in the bank at any given time. Plus I have another 200K in structures as well as as 15K-20K each alum, steel, copper.
im currently 4-1-3-4. I will typically mine hard for a week or two (my lots only) then reclaim my harvesters and build what everOrders Iget until I need to mine again . I would easily stay above 500K if i didnt go on spending sprees on a regular basis.
Its really not that hard, dont build what you cant sell. I not overpriced, but I wont go below what I think is fair. If they dont want to pay my prices they can buy from someone else.
I have about 4.5 million in credits and maybe 500k in various resources stashed away. I have 6 harvester lots. Normally I keep 5 heavy miners and 1 fusion out though when I build up power surplusses I usually pull the fusion up and put down a heavy gas for a few days to getthe reactive gas I need. I buy on average 10-15k resources on the bazaar each day (hides, chemicals, wood, inert gas, or cheap metals normally). I borrow no lots for harvesters though I do borrow 1 lot for an equipment factory from a friend. Typically my harvester production each day is about 11-12k ore, 24-25k metal (usually 1 heavy on each of aluminum, steel, and copper), and 14-16k power.
If I buy resources from friends I pay going market rates (i.e. never below 2.25cr per resource for a large bulk purchase).
I am a novice DE and chef along with being a master architect and 98%+ of my revenue comes from my architect work.
I sell nothing below 6cr per resource and on the 41.39 crafting stations I was getting about20k perstation (sold 120-150 of them before running out of key resources). I could have probably charged 40-50k for the stations and seen very little drop in demand but I didn't wanna make anyone mad as eventually better stations will appear whenever the SOE resource gods decide to smile upon Flurry.
I'm a master architect / master artisan, fueled only by myself. Not a member of a PA. I run all my harvesters myself.
As of a week adn a half ago, I had 1.3 million in the bank. In a three day span about three weeks ago I sold roughly 800k worth of goods (primarily PA Halls).
With the MASSIVE resources that came into Tatooine on Chilastra over the last two weeks and my buying up all the resources I can, I'm now down to just over 600k. I also blow a lot of money on things I'll never ever really need, but find interesting.
So, now I get to sit on my resources and start making furniture again
I figure I can gobble up all the resources I could ever need so when they release vehicles or the urban planner profession I can have a ton of everything to get started.
Oh that, and I compulsively obsess over the stats on resources, even though I don't *think* they effect us.. just our crafting stations!

OK now, how about this.. when you sound off, how about stating whether you are solo or guilded?
Also, for your resource counts, please do not include any resources or money gained due to duping.

Again with this must have PA backing if they have more than $0.02 to rub together. They could not be just savy businesspeople huh? It could not be that they are adept at the resource collection game...NO it must be a PA thing.
about 700k in the bank currently, took last week off from orders to upgrade myself to a full set of heavy harvesters but still ended up selling a couple large and medium houses along the way to referred customers. Still need a couple more heavies to complete my set before I return to full time work.
I work solo, but have a good friend who lets me use 4 of her lots for my house and factory. I don't have a lot of resources set aside, maybe 50k or so as I generally build parts and components so I have them available later without having to build or do factory runs.
The best part is that while I have this in the bank, it could all go away real fast with a bad turn of events. It doesn't take long to burn through that cash with a fleet of heavies around.
