Thread: Crafting Station Question
1. Best, or close to it.
and
2. Crap
The best ones sell for a pretty penny... price varies with servers, as does the actual functionality. The Crap ones, you can find littering the bazaar.
I'm going to run some test and see what kind of "economy" model I can make that's good to use, but not really at the high end. I'm hoping that I can get a nice 20-25 functionality one out the door for 3k... but who knows... with my luck I'll probably only hit 17 without using my really good stuff.(a far cry from the nice 42.47 food/chem in my master's edition)
It all mostly depends on what I can get a decent copper for...

Ok, I am sure there is something easy that I am just not doing properly. But, I have a small house on Tatooine and made a 37.40 Crafting Station. I can drop it fine in my house, rotate it, move it back and forth, BUT I can't seem to be able to use it.
Is there something I need to do to initilize it? As it is, I found a PA hall with a crafting station that I can use, but I want to be able to use my own. I have tried putting it in every room in the house and no go.
Do i need a bigger house?
Frustrated.

I am not sure what you mean by 'use' but here are my suggestions:
- If you are trying to get at the Input Hopper, I open my Crafting Tool in my inventory and pick something to craft then open the input hopper from the Crafting Interface and start moving thing back and forth.
- If you are speaking of just using it to Experiment and Craft on, I have never had any problems with opening the corresponding TOOL from my Inventory and crafting as usual. After the ingredients are in, I get that decision page asking if I want to Experiment, Create Prototype or Create Schematic.
- The only other thing I can think of is that you have another crafting station that is too close and you aren't close enough to the one you want to use (to be really safe you can actually stand inside the station.
- This can't be it as you sound like you have done this before but is there a possibility you are using the wrong crafting tool? (i.e. Using a Generic Crafting Tool with a Weapon, Droid, General Crafting Station instead of using the Weapon, Droid and General Crafting Tool)
Those are my guesses. I have found that with only one machine I generally am asked about experimenting if I am anywhere in my house.
How much of a difference does a high quality crafting station make? I friend just purchased a 40+ crafting statino and i'm not yet convinced enough to throw down the money for one. If anyone has experience with 30+ vs. the lower end models please advise.

The crafting stations in your droid actually have a default rating of 0...Same as the Public Ones...
Where did you get this info? I know they can be experimented on, but otherwise they do not show any ratings. Has someone doens some experimentation with these in comparison to the standalone Personal Stations?
Do two or more crafting stations work? I made a couple with Droid-Item-General and one other crafting station and they seem to work fine. I can experiment on both stations, however I am only master in Droid Engineering, so I can't tell if the upper tier items actually work for other crafting skills.
Whats the word on these?
Anyone who knows more, please correct me.
I purchased a Weapon, Droid & Gen Item Crafting Station that was +43.8%.
Question 1:
How is that rating compared to others you might have or have seen (did I get a good deal) ?
I still plan to buy a Food/Chem Station later too, so if you know where I can get one ... (hint)
Question 2:
How do I use the stupid thing once I start crafting meds ?
Thank you in advance for the advice to a Newbie-Holo-Grinder.
