TC is down until tomorrow at the earliest due to the fires in southern California. There's a post in the Dev Tracker about it.

Are any of the pieces required to be identical? Like the parts to the city hall for example...

OK, I understand that the resource requirements for structures aren't very consistent, but is a city hall a thirdbigger than aPA hall? It takes a third more walls! Man that's a lot of walls. Ouchie. I agre it should not be easy to start a city, but for an outpost with 5 citizens, the entry fee seems a bit steep.

I'd prefer to see a starting City Hall take only 12 Walls, but it could only support a city up to a medium size. THen if you wanted to grow larger you'd have to use an upgrade kit or something. I know, it's too late to suggest something like that now. But a boy can dream, right?

Why are there no Generic buildings that do nothing other than add space or environment to your city????

They are claiming that they dont have enough options with Urban Planner to make it an actual tree in its own right yet there are so many items we could be making if only they would use some imagination.

You know like when they built the current cities that are in the game. I for one would like to build a city that is more than just houses and the few useful structures we being allowed to build.

How about being able to make one of those large skyscrapers to be used as a backdrop in our city? Make it cost 100 wall modules and an insane amount of storage structures etc. Would be nice to actually be able to walk around inside them as well (especially the skyscrapers with the view at the top)

I cant believe how much we are being ignored by the devs, still no customization in our regular craft yet they are going to add these stupid items to the list??

If you head over to the Test Center forum, look for any thread *started* by Plinka. Plinka is the mayor of the City of New Hope, and has been providing screen shots, and answering questions, including recipies.

I'm still looking for screenshots of non-Tatooine civic buildings, but no-one will tell me the coordinates of any city (except for Funkytown on Corellia, and I don't care about Corellian style

Report is that none of the city buildings require lots. They belong to the town. Not to a particular person (other than the mayor I guess).

Cantinas and Med Centers are owned by players, reason why the mayor is given the skill to grant a person a 24 hour time period to place one down in the city. But who knows how this will work and in most cases it would probably take up lots, since everything else player owned takes up lots. Thats the reason I asked in the hope that someone as already tried placing one down.
